"My husband and I went to this place for our anniversary. My husband’s steak was amazing, my sea bass was ok.. but my one rating is because of the scam their staff tried to pull on us. Our bill was around $194 and we left $around $40 for tips. I checked my bank account as I typically do, and saw a bill for $462!! Called the restaurant and they said there is a $250 on tips!!! I said we did not leave that and I want to change my tip to $0! I see a pending transaction of $250 in my account but that is still more than what they should charge me. I have to now call back and ask for the rest… Very disappointing unprofessional behavior. If you still decide to go there, take a picture of your signed receipt as they try to steal money from you."

"Probably the best Korean food I have had in NYC thus far.Friend got to the venue like thirty mins before our planned seating time to write our names down. Bless his heart. This seems to be necessary for CDG because this place is spilling over onto the sidewalks outside and they don 't take reservations!We had a large group so we ordered quite the variety of options marinated soft shell crab, pear makgeolli, bossam, cod roe omelette, ddeokbeokki, and personal soups (my friend and I shared the perilla leaf soup). Everything was so diverse in flavor and texture but everything was ABSOLUTELY enthralling. Starting from the soy tofu starter, which brought me back to the childhood aroma of my dad making soy milk at home. Standouts to me were the BOSSam which was so tender and juicy with the counterpart of well balanced and complex, bold sauces. The cod roe omelette was also so delicious the cod roe shone through perfectly and the sauce was very cohesive. The pear makgeolli was delicious as well we ended up getting two bottles which were these large earthenware pots and was a sweet milk nectar with julienned Asian pear floating inside. Overall, I loved the ambience (classy but not too serious) and the food was all stunning. Would definitely return with friends in tow."

"Food here is absolutely delicious. Homestyle meals cooked with a great deal of care and vim. Everything on the menu is excellent. Here is my best shot at a little beginners guide . Hadn 't tried Haitian food before I ate here and now it 's one of my favorites. Lalo Greens similar in taste to collard greens. The chef gets these brought in special from overseas. Seasoned and cooked down with meat to a texture that 's like cooked spinach. I enjoy this dish 's unique flavor. Not a bitter flavor but just something different. Hearty and flavorful with the shredded meat. Legumes Vegetarian option with eggplant, carrot, cabbage, special squash. Cooked and seasoned to a thick stew texture. I 'm told it takes hours to get this dish right and it 's delicious. I love eggplant, this is one of the best preparations I 've ever tasted. Fried Chicken or Fried Goat This isn 't deep fried but just has that crisp outside with seasoning. So not too heavy. Really moist throughout, flavor to the bone. Great thing to try if you 're wondering where to start. Bannann Peze Fried green plantains. Basically tostones. Great snack, always made fresh. These come with every main dish. Served with pikliz. Pikliz Vinegary onion salad. Spicy with scotch bonnet peppers. Eat this on its own or add it to something. Good compliment to the fried dishes especially. Rice and Beans or Black Rice The rice is delicious. Seasoned rice, perfect fluffy texture with peas or lentils. Black rice has a little bit more flavor, flavored with mushrooms. Comes with your meal. Vegetarian options: Legumes, Bannann Pezze, Rice and Beans, White Rice with Black Beans all delicious."

"I recently had the pleasure of trying out the new happy hour menu at Bushido in Mountain View and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. With 25% off on all sake, wine, and specialty cocktails, I couldn 't resist giving it a try.Let 's start with the new menu offerings. The oysters were absolutely divine, priced at just $2.5 each during happy hour. They were fresh, plump, and bursting with flavor. The potato fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and at $8, they were a steal. The broccolini was a delightful surprise, cooked to perfection and priced at $8.5. And if you 're a fan of spicy food, the Spicy Karaage is a must-try. At just $9, it was packed with flavor and had the perfect amount of kick.If you 're looking for a more substantial meal, I highly recommend the Yakitori Set for $15. The negima, tsukune, and gyutan skewers were all incredibly juicy and flavorful. The Temaki Set, priced at $18, is perfect for sushi lovers. The hama, sake, and toro temaki were all fresh and beautifully presented.For those craving something light and refreshing, the Summer Cold Ramen is a great choice at $19. The noodles were perfectly chilled and the broth had a delicious, tangy flavor. And if you have room for dessert, the ANMITSU and Matcha Mochi Waffle are must-haves. Both priced at $8, they were the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal.To wash it all down, don 't forget to try the RAICHI FLOWER cocktail. It was a refreshing blend of flavors and priced at $15 during happy hour.Overall, my experience at Bushido with their new happy hour menu was outstanding. The prices were incredibly reasonable with the 25% discount, and the quality of the food and drinks was top-notch. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was attentive. "We picked up a kids menu chicken platter for our son when we had dinner reservations elsewhere without him. If we had another night in town we'd definitely have come here for the whole family, the kids platter was so good! Honestly blown away by the kids platter: homemade chicken strips, beans (with bacon! , rice, and french fries. The beans were really well seasoned, cooked with bacon, in a tasty, rich broth. The rice was cooked with garlic and perfectly cooked. Even the french fries were top notch. And the chicken strips were perfect golden brown, moist and well seasoned. I'm not sure my two year old really appreciated what he was eating. And at $12 it felt like a really great value, more than enough food for even an adult. I just wish we'd had another night in town to try out the rest of the menu. I'll also add that the staff were extremely friendly and hospitable on the phone and in person even though we were only there for pickup. Thanks for a great meal!"

"My wife and I have gone to Indian Palace 3 times now the service good, and we never felt rushed. The food didn't disappoint, I really liked the grilled vegetables along with the more traditional curries. The portions were of a good size and we've had left overs everytime. On the occasions when the kids came with us, they had a great meal too and since it isn't too fancy we didn't have to worry about a little bit of noise."

"We called the restaurant to know how late they will remain open. They told us till 10 p.m. We reached there at 8.20 p.m. on Saturday the 25th of July, 2015.The restaurant was about one-third full. There was a birthday party going on the back end. And there was a group of about 7 - 8 in a front table..The hostess was not very happy to see us. Gave us seats in a dark table in the middle. We wanted to see the menu. The lady said to us to hurry up as the kitchen was going to close at 9 p.m. We decided to go with the buffet dinner as no kitchen preparation will be involved.At around 8.55 p.m. the hostess/manager told us to take the food we need as she was removing the food from the buffet table at 9 p.m. I was shocked. I told her it was supposed to remain open till 10 p.m. .Anyway, we left at 9 p.m. My wife was angry with me that I still paid 15 % tips.The lady was working there for 10 years and she said she was the manager. If she behaves that way, I do not think the restaurant will remain open very long. Whatever bad hair day she had , she did not have to take it on her clients. The food was of average quality. The spread was not bad. . The chicken tandoori was bland with no zing."

"I came here with my man and my elder at the lab-day weekend. So we were ready for the service to be slow. but the restaurant was not busy, maybe only a few tables were occupied. there was only one person waiting for all the tables, so it took a while before she even came with water after she had shown us our table. it was a past before she was back to take our commands, and I think she was just holding up because one of us drew her attention after we were tired to wait. the food proportions were super small. the individual parts as well as the entrees that should be larger for the exchange were small. I honestly did not see many places with so small portions at the price in other Indian restaurants. the redis in sharp contrast were super large, but they felt more like dried pita bread than like north indian rotis. the chana masala had two large pieces of tomaten, which has unusual for preparation, the tomato sauce in the gravur, but not whole pieces of tomaten. we appreciate that the place was open at the late hour that we were there and the dame waited that all the tables were nice to speak but had to do too much. definitiw will not go back."

"We stayed here for a few nights, the first night we had an amazing waitress (Maddy) who was very helpful and worked with the kitchen to ensure my husbands meal was gluten free as he is coeliac. She was lovely and made sure we stayed hydrated after a day out hiking. The food was great and the wine was delicious. The following morning the service wasn't so good and the food was average, however our final morning we were served by a lady who gave my husband regular bread with his breakfast and then said we hadn't advised her of his allergy - I'm sure anybody who suffers from coeliac disease knows that this is the first thing mentioned when dining out and breakfast was no exception. It took several attempts for her to understand that the eggs etc. also needed to be replaced due to the contamination on the plate. It wasn't a great experience and our quick breakfast before checking out and heading on ended up lasting almost 1.5 hours and made us late. Overall the place was fab however our final experience wasn't a good one."

"Wonderful food and a great value compared to other places I ate at in the Brooklyn area. The place was neat and staff was friendly. Also enjoyed watch people as they walked by. However, the restaurant was empty so I missed the chatter of people talking. Also, the news was on rather than the traditional music that is so common at a restaurant. Definitely will go back if in Brooklyn and I have a hankering for Indian food."

"There were so many options that I wanted to try out everything one by one, but I was full. All the dry meat items like chicken pokaoda, roasted chicken etc., were quite bland, but curry items were tasty. I quite like the mutton curry and the chicken tikka. Those were my favorite. This place is a steal if you would like to try many Indian food from different states. 16 for that food is a great price. I would recommend that place"

"Went for a birthday dinner with wife and was overall disappointed. We have eaten at this restaurant probably 4 times and if there is a theme it is "inconsistent". We both had salads to start and greens were generally wilted and did not seem fresh. Wife had mussels and while broth was good, there were a couple mussels that were obviously "off" judging by the smell and fact they wouldn't easily come out of the shell. I had the halibut and prawns, and again while the broth was ok it was evident that the cherry tomatoes were added ice cold to the hot broth because when it arrived at the table the entire dish was at best Luke warm due to the cold tomatoes thrown in the broth. For the prices being charged their is a significant gap between quality and value. Someone needs to start paying attention to the details and above all the quality and consistency of food coming out of the kitchen..this is a very nice place with a great vibe but it is very unlikely we will give them another shot at getting it right...really is too bad!!"
