"I dropped in for a quick meal before an event and chose to have salads. I ordered the bacon salad, which was flavorful, but I felt it didn’t quite justify the price. On the bright side, the dressing was really enjoyable. Unfortunately, the coffee was quite disappointing—this isn’t the place to go for coffee. My date ordered the chicken salad and absolutely loved it, which is impressive given his picky nature. That alone gives the restaurant a positive mark. Although the portion sizes were a bit small, I still left feeling satisfied."

"As my husband was eating, he noticed an off taste and then discovered that it was burned on the bottom. We only ordered from this place because my husband used to enjoy Chubby's food, but that's no longer the case. For anyone considering ordering from here, I recommend dining in instead of opting for delivery. The wait is too long, and you'll likely receive cold food, but when you're hungry, you'll end up eating it anyway. If I could give a negative rating, I definitely would. It would be helpful if we could attach pictures to our reviews so you could see the issues we encountered, as I have photos of the food to share."

"Last night was awful, we were set at a table with standing liquid and trash under it. Our server seemed as if he was tired and spent more time behind the bar then taking care of his tables. Our 3 meals came out hot, warm and mine was ice cold....I couldn't even pierce my fingernail into my cold cardboard fries! The kitchen must have really been struggling because the three tables around us were visited by the manager for cold or missing items, our table was not visited by a manager. There was a very nice waitress who I found hanging out at the hostess stand, she brought my son a refill of water after waiting 10 minutes for one from our server that never came."

"While the food and service was fine (grand cru dessert was fabulous though), it was not worth the $400 that we spent which included a $100 bottle of wine. Both pieces of beef were overcooked for med rare and at $65 a pop, we do a better job at home. Debated between this restaurant and Marco Prime. "My family and I always eat here every year on Father?s Day and we are never disappointed. The food is outstanding. You cannot go wrong ordering anything on the menu and the Father?s Day buffet is unmatched in quality and quantity of food. We had a tremendous waitress today who was very attentive even though we were enjoying the self serve buffet. I do not think any of us had an empty glass of tea or water during our entire visit. "JACKIES'S PLACE: This restaurant used to be our favorite. It's a little bit of a drive to get there but we always thought it was worth it we drive by many good restaurants to get there. Great food, friendly waitstaff and fair prices. However the owner passed away and whoever is running it now has issues. We have made the trek out there 3 times and each time they were short staffed, people backed up and yet they had tables that were not being used due to staffing I assume. 3 times in a row we were turned way and ate somewhere else. Tonight we checked their website and they were still open, so we took off for Jackie's nobody can blow it 4 times in a row. We called on the way to check the wait but strangely nobody picked up. We get there and they are now closed on Wednesday nights!!! Sure would be nice to update your website which says you are open or leave a message for callers. I think we are done....there are more professional options in the area."

Went in for the state fair food. We ordered one of each. We liked the fried bacon, frito chili pie nachos and fried oreos! Least favorite were the mini corny dogs with chili. Get soggy fast! Update:. "This restaurant feels just like home cooking. The garlic lime cilantro fries are a favorite of mine that always keep me coming back! I really appreciate the staff; they remember faces and our favorite orders. They even call me the 'American burger with fries and an orange juice girl.' Plus, Hungry is always around to check on how your meal went. Now that's what I consider great customer service! I've recommended this place to all my co-workers, and they all love it too! Who doesn't enjoy having breakfast options in the afternoon? It's one of the few decent spots to eat at the Wharf, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. Great job!"

"It had been over 2 years since we visited this Snuffer 's and it might have been my last visit. We selected Snuffer 's figuring we could watch the NCAA softball world series and enjoy a meal. Neither happened. All of the TV 's were tuned to one of two baseball games. When we asked about getting a corner tv on the softball game we were told the barkeeper was the keeper of the remotes and the waitress would check and see if he would change the channel. We asked more than once and he never showed up. We watched the game on our phone. Now the meal. It wasn 't much better than the tv service. My wife had a burger and a small order of cheese fries. The burger had an ok review. I ordered the hot dog with chili, no mustard. The restaurant wasn 't very busy but it seemed like we had a long wait. When our meal showed up I had to ask about my chili because the waitress had forgotten it. I wasn 't impressed with the hotdog 's appearance on the plate. It had way to much cheese on it and the cheese had turned rubbery. Once I figured out how I was going to eat this mess, fork and knife, there was no way you were picking it up. There was mustard on it. It took awhile to flag down our waitress to send it back. She knew it wasn 't supposed to have mustard on it and the kitchen missed it. By the time my replacement showed up my wife had finished her meal. When the check came I was surprised that my meal hadn 't been discounted or that we hadn 't been offered a dessert or something for the problems. I didn 't create an issue about the errors and maybe I should have. I just know there are so many dining choices in the area there is no reason to frequent somewhere where you get such bad service."

"I've passed by this diner for years and never stopped. I'm so happy my dear friends suggested this spot for our meet up. Diners always have the best food and menus. We arrived a little after opening, so we invited to seat ourselves. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with eggs, sausage and pepper jack cheese on a brioche bun. The sandwich meal is served with hashbrowns. The meal was hot, tasty and large. I thought I was eating a burger. Our waiter was the best and quite attentive, so the service was pleasant. I've got plans to return for lunch and dinner."

"There’s really good positives and really bad negatives with this place. Positives: Fried pickle mushroom appetizers were great. The Dr Pepper BBQ Bacon Burger was fantastic, The Classic burger was tasty; Negatives: The Margaritas (i had 2 different)were horrendous, I had to return the 2nd one. The fried chicken strips was over cooked. A couple of the backup servers came offa bit rude, our server (redhead) was very kind and considerate. Will probably not ever choose to eat here again."

"Our new favorite restaurant, this place offers a lovely indoor and outdoor dining experience. The staff is very friendly, and the food exceeds expectations. I haven't tried the salads yet, but they look incredible. This weekend, I had the menudo (only available on weekends), and yes, it comes with hominy—and it was delicious! The juice is a bit thick but has a fantastic flavor. It's definitely better than the two Mexican restaurants I usually go to, which says a lot. The 2-2-2 combo is perfect for those who love pancakes, eggs, and bacon. We visited the cemetery with family, and this place was a great spot for everyone to gather afterward. Oh, and the syrup for the pancakes is thick, too—just a heads-up! I'm back here today for the fourth time in two months; this place is really that good!"
