"Tom's Famous Family Restaurant #24 is easy to find, sitting streetside in a small plaza. Walking in, I noticed first that the place looked clean... Almost sterile. I was surprised right away to see a three-foot tall robot talking and delivering mealsfrom the open kitchen to the dining room! How fun is that?! We ordered at the counter. A QR on our chosen table didn't work, butthe one at the register gave online access to the menu. Of course, a menu sign hung over the waffle-House-style kitchen forthose who preferred it. Prices were fairly reasonable and we paid in advance at the counter. I didn't leave a tip on the bill, assuming we'd be served by R2D2. But it was a human who served coffee and soda to our table. Shortly after, two piping hotbreakfast plates appeared. The food was fresh and well cooked, but I prefer a bit more seasoning on the eggs and hashbrowns. Mybiscuits and gravy was delicious and the chicken-fried steak; tender and tasty, properly smothered in gravy. Service wasreasonably good, although I had to walk to the counter to ask for ketchup, only to be told to scavenge it from another table. Idid leave a tip in the tip jar. All in all, worth a visit!"
