"I decided to tried door dash with this restaurant for the lunch special for the first time. The doordash driver exceeded expectations while following covid precautions. My food was perfectly package and sealed w staples in closed brown bag, this wasa huge plus for the restaurant. I ordered chicken masala, meat combo. I was given 4 small bites size pieces of chicken and naanwas hard, I'm guessing not fresh. Could do better with the portion. In my opinion, my food was tasty and flavorful. They justneed to work on freshness and portion sizes, especially when customer ordering meat as the main dish. Overall 4stars???? #TEAMSMILEY"

"This is what true ownership looks like! Everyone was delighted with their meal. Hearty, and nutritious. The owner personally made sure our diet restrictions were met, joked, chatted with us, and made everyone feel at home. A home-cooked meal was a very comforting light on a 9 hour car trip. There's no worry about cut corners or poor quality here. Janet seems to ensure everything is up to her personal highest standard, the way she'd feed her own family. What a blessing. Thank you, Janet! We'll have to plan to stop by again the next time we're cutting through the country."

"I’m quite disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. This morning, I took my 8-year-old daughter to enjoy our usual Sunday tacos. When I ordered, I specifically asked for 6 tacos and 2 cokes. To my surprise, when my order came out, there were 9 tacos. I was taken aback and informed the employee about the mistake, but he insisted that I was wrong. Honestly, why would I order 9 tacos for just the two of us? He simply pushed the extra tacos at me and said, "Just take them." When I went to pay, I was charged $24 for the egg tacos and the cokes, which felt unfair given the situation. The negative attitude of the staff was really frustrating, and considering this experience, I don’t think I’ll be returning. I usually come here at least three times a week, so this treatment was really disappointing. **Original Review:** The food is great, especially the breakfast burritos. However, the woman at the window always has an unwelcoming attitude. It’s a shame because the food is delicious. Just a heads up, the seating is only available on the patio."

"There are several Chinese restaurants in Novato, but China Palace is a favorite among families. Their chow fun is particularly delicious, especially when made with fresh pork instead of cha su. In addition to this dish, I have also tried their hot and sour soup, potstickers, and Mongolian beef, which packs a flavorful kick. For Chinese New Year, my family ordered sweet and sour pork and chow mein, although I was not impressed with the sweet and sour pork as much of the breading had separated from the meat. Despite this, the takeout service is always efficient and the food arrives piping hot. The restaurant has a decent-sized parking lot and is conveniently located off of Redwood Blvd."

"My husband and I had breakfast this morning. The restaurant was wonderful as always. Since we made it, I noticed the new chairs. It looks great. The menus were new since our last visit. The food was as always very valuable. The staff was super friendly during a very busy morning. I highly recommend Covered Bridge if you have breakfast after a Hometown Café are great and good price. The staff is friendly and helpful. Owners are friendly and very community-related. You have my life."

"We had been eager to try Tung's Taste for quite a while, and though it was a bit of a drive, it was absolutely worth it! The decor is lovely, and the staff are very friendly. We ordered the Pu-Pu platter for one, but in hindsight, we should have chosen the one for two because it was so delicious. The boneless ribs were the best we've ever had, and the crab rangoon was enhanced by fresh scallions—I'm truly in love with their egg rolls. Next, we tried the vegetable egg foo young, which was excellent, featuring fresh vegetables and a delightfully light sauce. The pork fried rice was decent, but we weren't really feeling the pork; it didn’t meet our expectations. Next time, we'll opt for the vegetable fried rice instead. We can't wait for our next visit!"

"I visited for lunch earlier today and found the place quite empty. I ordered the two-entrée plate and while I received a generous amount of white rice, the entrées were disappointing in terms of portion size. The orange chicken was very small, and I was only given six pieces of walnut shrimp. The server scooped up seven pieces but hesitated to give me one as if she were afraid to part with it. The portion sizes here seem to be miniature compared to other locations I’ve visited. Honestly, even people living in North Korea probably get larger servings than what I was offered. This will be my last visit to this location. Goodbye, Felicia."
