"The bread served with the tomato sauce was cold and stale. When we mentioned this to our waitress, she just dropped another basket on the table without any apology. The second batch of bread was much better, but by then, we didn’t really need any more. Most of the entrees were good, but my maple-glazed salmon was excessively sweet, along with the sweet potatoes.
After our meal, our waitress, Debbie, didn’t even acknowledge my mom's birthday. In previous visits, we were treated to biscotti with whipped cream and a candle. When the check arrived, I tried to bring it up, but she walked away. My daughter was so taken aback by the rudeness that she chased after her. The manager eventually came over to apologize and offered us dessert, but we had already settled the bill and were ready to leave. She suggested a take-out dessert, but it just wasn’t the same experience. Unfortunately, Guimarello’s will no longer be our go-to choice for special occasions."
