"I rate restaurants with a 3 pillar concept (service, atmosphere and food) they hit all to achieve 5 stars. Service: We were greeted right away and they helped us with the menu as we were new customers. You have to order and then they take the food to you. They were pretty quick to bring our food to our table (8 minutes). Atmosphere: The overall inside decor is southern Texas flare. The place is very clean from tables to bathrooms. It wasn't loud, but we attended the restaurant on a off hour on a weekday. I'm sure it gets crowded, but they have enough room for large groups. Food: These are simply great burgers. I had the Rio Grande medium rare. It was superb and had enough heat from the chili peppers. I think they were 1/3 pound burgers and cooked to perfection. We also ordered onion rings and French fries that were crispy and priced accordingly. I ordered a mocha frappe. Great pair with the slightly spicy burger. I would recommend anyone to try this place out as they also have plenty of parking and you can't go wrong with this burger joint. Please note price is higher than most burgers, but they can't compare. Go for it you won't regret it."

"I’ve visited this restaurant multiple times, and they really excel at sandwiches and burgers—everything is typically well-balanced in flavor. The servers are helpful and offer great recommendations if you’re unsure about what to order. For dessert, I tried the fruit cobbler. After a 30-minute wait, I received a cast iron skillet filled with burnt bread smothered in caramel, topped with a scoop of hard ice cream. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any fruit in it at all. This is a real disservice to fruit cobbler everywhere. Also, the ginger beer looked just like Canada Dry ginger ale."

"It's been several years since we have been to the Rodeo Steakhouse as it's hard to justify spending so much on a piece of meat when I can buy it at the store and make it a million times better. I normally smoke my meats and add a flavorful rub which is impossible to beat when it comes to the flavor of most steaks you can get at any restaurant. That being said, I was very satisfied with my meal. The salad had real bacon bits and the blue cheese married well with the other ingredients. My steak was cooked perfectly, which is 90% of the problem with most steaks gone bad. They say they are seasoned but I still had to add salt and pepper but I'm sure this is just due to my rubs having so much more flavor. I can acknowledge it would be hard to get this perfect for everyone though as some people just like a little salt and pepper and they are good. But to have it a perfect medium makes up for that and it was an easy solution to add a bit more seasoning to be completely satisfied. The wait staff was excellent and the husband/wife team went out of their way to make us custom drinks for our anniversary. We were well attended to for sure. The only negative might be the floors were very slippery. They do the peanut shells on the floor thing which makes for a mess but they felt extra greasy and treading lightly is a must. That was the least of my worries though as we had a great night and my wife's TNT burger was great as well. She had to add sauce though as they don't put any on but again just order some ranch and bbq sauce and all is well. I didn't have to cook so that was also a plus :"

"The fish was so greasy that both my husband and I ended up feeling ill afterward. The prices were also quite steep. For an all-you-can-eat fish meal, a sandwich, a children's meal, and drinks, we ended up spending nearly $40. That's far too much for what we got—I could buy groceries for two or three days with that amount. We won't be returning."
