"My wife and i went there deliberately early 5:30pm sitting so it was understandably empty with no ambience...nice menu...excellent service from Mary ? ....my wife's food was apparently perfect oysters followed by scallops however my food was disappointing...I ordered the veal bone-in chop...firstly it was very chewy and hard to cut even with a steak knife, but then it was smothered in an overpowering gravy which completely masked the flavor of the veal...very salty and something I'd expect at a cheap diner...a shame because it will be my lasting memory and will dissuade me from going back there."

"Fantastic as always. We are Telluride locals and this is our go to spot for ourselves and when friends are in town. The lamb is my absolute favorite but they had just run out. Happy to try something new and really enjoyed the salmon. Tried several apps and the octopus and yellowfin tuna were the two favorites of the table."

"Because of the amazing views and modern decor, I really wanted to like Lou's and to add it to our list of go-to places. Unfortunately, the service and food were both lacking and bland. It took almost 10 minutes before our server greeted us with barely a smile and a detached attitude (and for the entire meal also). While waiting those 10 minutes, I noticed that all the servers were hanging out in the kitchen or just outside of it and not tending to their tables (and it was busy). When they finally appeared, I noticed that they didn't smile or interact with their customers either. The only glimpse of personality or customer service attitude came from the few seconds of interaction from the two runners who brought our food. Our server never checked in on us until the end of the meal; my husband ran out of ice tea midway through the meal and politely raised his glass after several minutes. Another server noticed and told our server. All of our food lacked seasoning/flavor, except for my salad which was flavorful and plentiful. Again, I really wanted this to be an enjoyable meal, especially since it was a birthday lunch for my father-in-law. But, unfortunately, the detached attitudes and bland food reflect that there are some management issues at Lou's. I hope they can fix them, because the location and ambiance is wonderful."

"I'm quite familiar with this place, as I'm a regular at the coffee shop Urli Bird. Though I had never dined in before, I often noticed how bustling it is with litigants, staff, and the public from Superior and Federal courts. Recently, I visited with my wife, and we both had a great experience. I ordered the Hill Street burger with fries, while my wife chose the Chicken Pesto Melt. When I ordered my burger, I was pleasantly surprised to be asked how I wanted it cooked— a nice touch. Our server was attentive, even with the lunchtime rush. I appreciated how the different servers collaborated as a team; if our initial server was busy, others came by to check on us. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the excellent service we received. I really hope this restaurant continues to thrive. Thank you and God bless."

"My wife and I stopped by on the way home on a Sunday night. Once we found it (look towards the end of the shopping center on the right) we got in pretty quickly and sat inside. I will say the tables and chairs looked plain but the food was great! I had the Shrimp Cocktail and it came out like a bowl of soup (very surprising) but it was delicious with a slight heat to it that seemed to come from horse radish like you would expect in a shrimp cocktail dish. I also ordered fries on the side and they came out hot and crunchy, also tasting very good. My shrimp were fresh and crunchy and very good!My wife had the Calamari and it was also really well prepared!I believe the chips and salsa (hot) was home made and quite good!!I gave it a 4 star or atmosphere only because this food should be presented in a more upscale looking establishment.I can easily recommend Azteca for your meal!"

"I come back because the meats are quality and not salty and they use fresh Grand Central bread. I wish they had a build your own. I will say the current special of #1 Smoked Roast Beef is delicious and I dont much care for roast beef. Its loaded with meat so dont assume a half isnt much. I always love the Daily Soups as well. Although I just like not love the carrot coconut curry. The sandwich dipped in it though YES!"

"This is a new restaurant and still seems fairly unknown. It was a bit difficult to find due to the lack of a sign out front. The food was excellent. Everything was fresh, well prepared and had lots of taste. In addition, the chef is obviously quite talented based on how interesting the flavors were. The watermelon salad, shrimp ceviche, swordfish, ceaser salad, rice puddimg and flan all exceeded expectations. The only item we ordered that was less than excellent was the steak which had great taste but was tough. The service was also friendly and attentive."
