"Service is amazing and their food is great! I heard about this place through a friend and decided to give it a go since I needed a katsu fix and it’s hard finding a place in Brooklyn that makes good katsu. To my surprise it was actually pretty good. There was a decent amount of meat (not too thin like other restaurants) and layer of breading. Although I found it to be quite dry alone, they provide sauce for you to dip in. The sauce tasted like ketchup? I’m not a huge fan of the sauce and I would prefer if they offered other options with their katsu like curry but it satisfied me till my next trip ??"

"Ordered pickup with my family. The food itself is pretty good, but they left out several items that were supposed to be included with our entrees. For example, the website says chicken katsu comes with soup, salad, and white rice, but there was no whiterice to be found (and does lettuce underneath the chicken count as a salad? . For $19, I would probably expect either a ton offood or the sides that were supposed to be included. The chicken was decent, pork buns were okay, sushi/sashimi was good, andthe miso soup was good. However, I am kind of sad about my missing rice."

"I visited Shogun 3 for my dad's birthday with a group of 7. Dad was excited for his first hibachi show, and we were happily watching the older chef cook for 2 other tables. While the younger hibachi chef cooked extremely quickly, we were disappointed by the lack of entertainment and interaction no food toss into mouth, no egg juggling, the onion fire lasted only a second, any any of the normal gimmicks. It felt incredibly rushed and was just him cooking on a flat top. One order our Shogun Special order was incomplete. The waitress wrote it down correctly on the slip. After i pointed out we were missing an order, chicken and 3 shrimps were added. After everyone received their meals, I realized the steak was missing for the Shogun Special had to point this out again. Towards the end, my brother's steak was cooked after we had mostly finished eating, causing him to box his food. The experience fell disappointingly short for the $306 (w. Tip) we spent, and we were hoping for more flair and fun in the performance."

"My fiancé and I ordered off the Chinese Menu. She ordered the Lo Mein and I ordered the Sesame Chicken. Both dishes were delicious. If you are wondering whether to order the small or large portion, just know it took me two separate meal times to finish my large dish. The large portion would be good to share with someone, or good to save for the next day's leftovers. We will definitely be returning customers. Friendly service and fresh food."

"If you're looking for a great sushi restaurant in the uptown area, you must visit Kiku Bistro. I have ordered delivery online many times, but decided to dine in at the restaurant this time. There is convenient street parking right in front of the restaurant, and you can pay using the MPLS Parking app. The atmosphere is relaxed with dim lighting, and we were seated next to the sushi bar. Instead of traditional menus and a server, we were instructed to scan a QR code to view the menu and place our order on the website. While it was a bit confusing at first, it was convenient as we could order without waiting for a server to return to our table. The staff were friendly and the food arrived quickly. I particularly enjoyed their unique selection of cocktails, such as the rum-based old fashioned. I will definitely be returning to dine in at Kiku again soon!"

"Went to Nikko restaurant with my family twice. The service was excellent. The food sushi, General Tso's Chicken, Schezuan Beef, soup, deserts, drinks were excellent as well. I love the ambiance, the lighting was perfect. Only thing is that people at the bar and hibachi area can get loud and annoying but have some warm sake and you will fit right in. I really like this place since Hunan Balcony and our other favorite restaurant China Fun closed, this is definitely my family's new favorite restaurant.This is an Update: July 9th 2023 My family and I have ordered Nikko for delivery through UberEats several times but today my family member ordered two different dinners soups and salads including an appetizer crab Shumai. Food seemed a bit unorganized and shuffled in the bag but bag was stapled as usual, everything was spilled and leaking that was unusual generally when when we received an order every thing is organized and no soups leaking. Upon eating two bites of the shrimp and broccoli and General Tso's and crab Shumai. I immediately threw up, this food was completely rotten and had a chemically taste. I cannot believe we ate some of this rotten food, everything had to be thrown out immediately after consuming a bit of the food we all became ill from the chemically taste and realized the putrid smells fumigating from the bag it was delivered in this is definitely a food safety issue and I hope the food inspectors will investigate thier kitchen and cooks Unfortunately we will not be ordering again. I hope this restaurant will realize just how fast they can lose great customers by not checking the quality of the food they send out to their loyal customers. I'm very disappointed in this place as we have been ordering here for a while now. But fortunately for us there are many other great Chinese/Thai restaurants who have better quality control and will not deliver rotten/chemically tasting food to their customers."

"Sushi Sumo is your standard all-in-one restaurant that offers Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine. There is not a particular specialty they offer so each dish is overall average. It's satisfying, comes out quick and is inexpensive but nothing crave-worthy for me. I have tried Chinese dishes, Japanese sushi and Thai food here. My most recent visit I went with the shrimp massaman curry with wonton soup. The dish was served piping hot and tasty but the wonton soup broth lacked flavor. The service is great and always attentive."

"This was a surprise! When I pulled into my hotel to check in, I saw there was an attached sushi place. I was going to just order delivery from them, then realized, You 're traveling. Go there. So I walked over and was seated immediately, and was presented with a check-off menu. I had the house salad (had to get some veggies in) and Tom Yum soup. It had a few chunks of tomato, enoki mushrooms, and two pieces of shrimp. Considering tom is Vietnamese for shrimp, I would have liked more shrimp. But it was delicious, and I drank the broth from the bowl after all the solids were gone. Next up was my sushi. I ordered the Hicksville Roll, which was fantastic. I also ordered a spicy salmon crunch roll, and another whose name escapes me. I also decided to order some sashimi, and got a nice surprise with the bite of red snapper. Good flavor. The staff were all friendly and quick to pick up my next order, and I left with a full, happy tummy. $26.99 for all-you-can-eat is a decent price, considering I would have spent more than that on what I was thinking of ordering for delivery. Definitely worth the visit. I wish I 'd taken pictures, but it was the first I 'd eaten all day, so it didn 't last long enough to grab my phone!"

"They are absolutely fantastic. I’ve never had tempura this good and perfectly cooked. I always order a tempura bento box for lunch. First time it was chicken and the second time it was shrimp. The best part is actually the tempura vegetables that come with it. The onion was like a Japanese onion ring and when you dip with the tempura sauce that comes with your order it is seriously delicious. My other favorite is the tempura sweet potato. I thought it was carrot and I was very pleasantly surprised when it was sweet potato. I love tempura sweet potato rolls so to eat it as just a tempura battered sweet potato slice was amazing. The sweet potato was cooked to perfection where it wasn’t undercooked hard but very soft. I also chose the tuna roll to go with it and I can tell the tuna is pretty fresh since it’s not bright red. Super bright red tuna usually means it’s pumped with a lot of carbon monoxide. That’s how fish is sold so it doesn’t look a little brown like it naturally should. Tuna doesn’t stay fresh very long and should be cooked and eaten as soon as you buy it. It is also kid-friendly! I went with my baby thinking I’ll just go in, pay for stuff, and head to the next errand but he was so fussy. So I asked them if I could use a booth to feed him and they said yes. I started eating my lunch while I fed the baby with the other hand and I struggled to put everything back so I could leave since I only had one hand. The lady came up to me and asked if she could help and I said yes please. So she placed everything back in the bag and re-stapled it and I was so grateful for them going the extra mile. I unfortunately didn’t have cash to leave a nice tip so I hope this raving review will make up for it!"

"Delicious food and great service! We sampled their Ginger Grouper special and the Sa-Sa sushi roll, which includes salmon, sweet potato, snow crab, and some other ingredients I can’t recall. We enjoyed these dishes alongside Jasmine green tea, and concluded our meal with banana tempura over the weekend. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful here. "Great price for all you can eat with plenty of options! They also have plenty of non-sushi meals from the kitchen on the all you can eat menu, not just appetizers like some other AYCE places around. The servers were on top of taking empty plates, refilling water, taking our menu selections quickly. Seating is available at the sushi bar, regular tables and chairs, or wooden booths in the back. I am giving 4 stars because the sushi is good, but not the best you will find on Long Island.I had the Haru Maki and Miso Soup to start, both were good... the soup could use more toppings but I enjoyed the broth. My friend had a Kani Salad some Tempura Sweet Potato, she loved both of them. We ordered 2 rolls each to share. I ordered the Fried Island Roll the Mango Hawaii Roll, my friend had the Yankee Roll Captain Roll. I liked all of them except for the Yankee, but I don't like cream cheese in sushi.We got a 2nd round which was another Mango Hawaii, Sex on the Beach, and Phoenix, all of which i loved. My favorite for the night was the Sex on the Beach roll. The fish was fresh, my friend who usually orders vegetable or California rolls actually enjoyed the raw salmon tuna! The only disappointment for me was that they ran out of green tea ice cream becore we had a chance to order desert, but i was so full I didn't really need it.My friend almost didn't want to go because we could not find the AYCE menu online, so I took pictures so others don't have the same problem."

"This restaurant consistently impresses me! I wanted to mention that I usually order from here through UberEats. Typically, I start with a tip of $0 to $3 before my driver arrives, and once they do, I often increase it to 20% or even more for exceptional service. However, this time I faced an issue with the UberEats app, which didn't allow me to tip at all! Instead of receiving updates about my driver picking up my order or on their way, it looked like someone from Sushi Sumo delivered my meal instead. I feel terrible for not being able to tip this person, and I wish there was a way to compensate them. When I eventually get a chance to visit in person—if my hectic schedule permits—I’ll definitely keep this in mind. The food here is always delicious and incredibly fresh. While the prices might be a bit on the higher side, you truly get what you pay for in terms of quality. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to others, and I sincerely apologize again for not being able to tip through UberEats!"

"I would give this restaurant 4 stars for creativity, but the execution was just average. It was my first time encountering tempura shrimp paired with asparagus and mango, all wrapped in a soy bean wrap. I had a different expectation for the soy bean wrap, thinking it would resemble the tofu skin commonly used in Chinese cuisine. Instead, the soy bean wrap was more pinkish and lacked a distinct flavor. This sushi, called Tokyo Love, didn’t really benefit from the soy bean wrap, but the other ingredients were fresh and tasty. I visited based on a friend’s recommendation, and I had a pleasant experience overall. The service was good; the waitress seemed to know my friend as a regular customer. Although there was only one waitress, she managed to stay on top of taking orders. The ambiance was decent, but the place could use more lighting and decor."
