"I have been eager to try the brunch at Granite City for some time now, and their St. Patrick's special seemed like the ideal opportunity. However, I was greatly disappointed. The food was excessively greasy - for example, the Hashbrowns were soaked in at least an inch of oil. Our server was excellent and even brought us a plate of fresh cinnamon rolls, but unfortunately they were undercooked. The quality of the food did not justify the nearly $25 per adult price tag we paid for our family of four. In hindsight, we should have just gone to a normal sit-down restaurant and ordered from the menu."

"The food was very yummy! Our group only did appetizers and drinks. The mixed drinks were strong and the beer was extra cold. Unfortunately our service was not the best. Our drinks were being forgotten about, didn’t get checked up on, had to ask a different server for something due to the lack of presence of our own server. Desserts were not offered, had to ask about that, and as a dessert order was being placed for one person, the server literally walks away without asking anyone else if they wanted something. It was a pretty interesting experience. Canceled that instead and went somewhere else to spend our money. Since the food was good, I’d maybe consider going again as I know not all servers are the same, and people have off days, but as a first timer here, kind of puts of sour taste in your mouth wouldn’t be on top of my list of recommendations for others"

"They were awesome in accommodating a large group of 9 for Fathers Day! Definitely appreciate that. Our waitress was very nice, very honest about her recommendations, unfortunately she had too many tables and wasn’t super responsive to empty beverages. But we made do. The food was hit and miss several people reported delicious food my Asian chicken salad was good. My father’s chicken pot pie was soup in a pie crust. My mother complained her meat loaf was not good but my brother quite enjoyed his. Might have just been a preference difference. Definitely appreciate the restaurant for accommodating us, and will certainly come back. Thank you!"

"A friend and I eat here most Thursday’s. We call it our Therapy Thursday lunch. They are fast and have consistently great food. We have time to talk and still get back to work in time. My son and I also go here most Sunday’s after Church. Yes, I guess you can say, “I love it”!"

"I vist this place long long ago and chips and salsa where free , not any more. that time there was a fly buggin me all the time I was there, folowing me every where I go, I think It work full time there‍ because yesterday I went there again and the fly was still there doing his work! This time was not a nice visit Im thinking they hire more flys to attend the customers more eficient and well. tortillas need to be cook a little more time,is very expensive too,for some reason is not the same like it just to be, we decide not ever come back again. "This was a fun new place. A friend suggested this place to meet for lunch. I was looking forward to it because I had never been here before and I always like to try new places. Walking in you notice the decor right away fun, festive, colorful, the tables are bright with all the wonderful Mexican colors. They have a great salsa bar several different kinds of salsa, pico, cilantro, onions, and jalapenos. They also have a self service drink station. The food that I saw come out looked really good. I ordered the ground beef taco salad. It was really good, the perfect size, and the shell bowl it came in was really tasty! The prices were very affordable too. My taco salad was only $6.00! My friend and I both had the taco salads and a soft drink and my bill was under $20 a very nice surprise. Now for what some people might think of as a negative you do order at the counter, and you do go back to the counter to pick up your food order. I did like that they didn't yell out order numbers but instead had a video screen where order numbers are displayed. We were there at lunch time so it was on the busy side and it was a little loud. That being said , the affordable prices and the fun atmosphere will take me back. I want to try some of their other menu offerings."

"I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The service was rude, and the staff seemed more interested in gossiping about a coworker in Spanish than attending to customers (and I’m Hispanic myself). I didn’t receive a receipt, so I’m not sure who the woman at the window was, but she appeared to be a manager. She seemed upset about the gossip and was snappy with me, but I chose to ignore it since it was her bad day, not mine. When I returned to work, I noticed how poorly made my nachos were. I specifically requested the sour cream on the side, but it was mixed in. There was hardly any meat on my plate—just one nacho on top had most of the meat on it. It felt like they poured more grease on my food than actual meat. I’m highly dissatisfied and would rather pay the same price for authentic Mexican food at Los Albertos."

"There's a manager who works the morning shift and makes the process of ordering breakfast burritos extremely frustrating. In the U.S., it's common for people to inquire about military discounts when they arrive at the window where payment is made. However, at Rosa Cafe, she insists that you announce it at the drive-thru speaker instead. If you forget to do this, she responds with an unpleasant attitude, complete with dramatic sighs and huffing, treating veterans—who deserve respect—with a dismissive demeanor. This isn't how first-time customers should be greeted; there's no need for verbal reprimands. We're simply looking to enjoy your overpriced tacos without the added negativity. Instead of channeling all that energy into a negative attitude, perhaps she should focus on improving the restaurant's health rating, which is currently below standard. It's time for an attitude adjustment—support the troops in the same manner we're supporting your restaurant and your paycheck."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday with my two sons. They ordered regular nachos, while I tried the Italian beef nachos, and we also got a funnel cake with ice cream for my daughter. Everything was fresh and delicious. My kids loved it so much that they wanted to return today, which says a lot since nachos are available everywhere. It’s the unique flavor that really impressed us. We’ve found our new favorite spot!"
