"I'm a Florida resident and I've been to Key West multiple times since i've turned 21 with my ID and have never had a problem. At this place they didn't even greet us as we arrived, the blonde skinny waitress with glasses assigned to our section kept ignoring us. She was extremely rude. When one of the other waiters brought us menu she said she would let her know to attend to us after 30 minutes had passed. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting in the sun she decides to come over take our order with attitude, must have not wanted to work that day. After taking our order she decides she has a problem with only my vertical ID even though im 26 years old and have never had a problem with it. It was only directed towards me and I honestly felt racially profiled by her. She began talking to multiple employees about me looking at me while I was looking back at her. One employee came back and let us know he would not take my ID and said the manager would come by to let us know why. No manager ever came back to explain anything. They continued to take my ID to the back and even bent it. They damaged my personal property and didn't even properly explain why they would not serve me. Felt extremely racially motivating as one of the other people in my group also had a vertical ID."
