"We dined here at the recommendation of close friends since my wife hails from Taiwan, and it’s challenging to find authentic Taiwan-style dining in the area. We decided to try it for our anniversary dinner this year. For appetizers, we ordered the Spicy Crispy Cucumber (served plenty spicy! along with the West Lake Beef Soup (both GF . I chose the Pork Wontons in Chicken Broth soup. For our main courses we chose the Crystal Glass Noodles, Kung Pao Dish with chicken, Honey Pine Nut Shrimp and Lychee Fish. Everything was outstanding. Although my wife felt more of an American style influence over a traditional Taiwanese taste, we agreed that overall it was a nice dining experience. The servers (though all non-Asian listen intently to questions and concerns, and they don’t hesitate to verify ingredients when there’s an allergy concern. The atmosphere wasn’t as relaxed or upscale as it appears on the outside, but the inside noise didn’t bother us. Dietary restrictions: They take gluten allergies very seriously. All dishes we ordered were brought with a marker clearly identifying them as gluten free or allergy. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"
