"I just had dinner at Dogwood on October 13th to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. Although I grew up in Charlotte, I currently live in Ohio, and a friend from Charlotte recommended Dogwood; they even joined us that evening. We arrived early and enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar while waiting for everyone else. They had Saldo, a red wine I really like. The ambiance was great. My son and I shared several dishes, including French fries, duck and dumplings, and American wagyu flank. We also tasted the crab cake that my sister ordered. Two others at the table had the fish, which looked fantastic! For dessert, we tried three different flavors of ice cream (one of which had corn), while others enjoyed the pumpkin cheesecake. Overall, the meal was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional. I wish I still lived in Charlotte!"
