"I wanted to like this place so badly. It is very cute and stylish with modern decor and upbeat music, but unfortunately this is about the only positive. It was recently opened, and based on the previously stellar reviews we had very high hopes! My friend and I went on a Thursday night at 6:00 just in time for Happy Hour, this is 3 7PM. Every time we go to Sushi, we always start with veggie tempura, and I must say from all the veggie tempura dishes I have consumed from countless places over the years, I was never more disappointed... My first bite was a big piece of sweet potato. It was cut very thick and thus it was cooked, hard and raw. My next bite was zucchini, which was also cut thick, but had the opposite effect, and can best be described as mushy. The broccoli was the only veggie that was boiled properly, but something went wrong with the dough... it was lifeless without crumbling, just so tender. To supplement injuries, the immersing sauce that came with it was completely tasteless. No saltiness or taste... basically brown water. Next we ordered a California Roll and a Philly Roll. The California Roll was just fine. It's hard to fool me, but I definitely had better. But the Philly was terrible, which I think is a pretty basic role. The salmon had a rough color on it and was hard to chew. It had a gummy consistency and did not taste fresh at all. After my first bite, I pulled a fish scale out of my mouth. I had lost my appetite pretty much, but I left anyway because I didn't want to waste food. We basically had to separate each piece and select the bits of bad-looking salmon. In the role there were also visible blue pieces of avocado. The service was good, but not the most attentive. I never got a refill on my water, the dishes were not deleted until after our departure, and the waiter didn't care how the food was. It also took 10 minutes to get the bill with our credit card. This was after I had stacked the dishes for them and had moved them to the edge of the table to make it obvious that we were ready to go. Overall no good experience. We had also planned to order a special role, but after we were disappointed in two basic roles, it was not important to take the risk."

"I didn't know this place was kaiten (conveyor) sushi, so that might help gauge expectations better. I ordered through Uber Eats and was overwhelmed with the variety of choices, which is both good and bad they tailor to what you might crave but then they don't seem to really specialize in anything if they're offering everything, you know? I didn't get sushi this round and was satisfied with my order, but nothing really stood out. Chicken Karaage some inconsistency as a few pieces were better than others. It's a super light fried chicken karaage where there's no real crunch, it's relatively soft and not crispy. Pro or con depending on your preference. The chicken was inconsistent as some were super juicy yet others a tad bit dry. I appreciated that they attached salt and pepper for me to customize. I do wish they included spicy mayo rather than regular mayo, as that's more standard for chicken karaage. I'd probably keep this at a 3/5 item. Salmon Chips I haven't had these before and have seen them around. They're pretty good, not sure if it's specifically this location or all salmon skin chips as I don't have anything to compare to. They're pretty fatty and a great source of omega 3s with a beautiful crunch to them. I'd give this a 5/5. Pork Tonkatsu Bento Disappointing. Salad was normal, edamame was normal, but bland because of it as it didn't come with salt or anything. Got four pieces. Rice is normal as well, can't go wrong with that. The most disappointing part was the focus of this item the pork. It was super dry and not that crispy. Stiff to bite because it was so dry. Katsu sauce helped a bit, but it was way too salty and soy saucey. At first, it felt promising as I tried the sauce and it was super viscous but then the taste let me down. I've seen a lot of watery katsu sauces which I don't like but they tasted great."

"Love Senro Sushi!!! I went there to meet a friend of mine that I hadn 't seen in some time and it was the perfect place to meet at. It wasn 't too crowded, we were able to talk and catch up actually hear one another, yet the other guests were still far enough to not be bothered by us. At least I didn 't think that they were annoyed by us.. haha. Aside from that our server was extremely efficient, she didn 't waste anytime. Their actual service on their food was exceptionally quick as well. This server didn 't miss anything boy and if she was in the back doing something else her partner was right there behind her to pick up the slack. And I can genuinely say she didn 't miss a beat either!! Oh 2 more minor things that I feel are rather big bonuses. Is that there was plenty of parking and it 's right in the rear entrance where you walk in at. So you could ultimately see your car from sitting inside the restaurant if you wanted to. ...The only downfall or negative I would mention about Senro is that their parking lot is a bit dark. There is not much lighting out there at all. And, there really isn 't a lot of light walking into the restaurant either. So, if you aren 't familiar w the place..it could be a lil intimidating and discouraging. But, just follow the lights inside and you 'll be good. And you 'll be happy that you did. You won 't be disappointed. And, this very last tid bit...is that they are very reasonably priced. I mean you do have to remember that you are in Pleasanton. So if you are aware of that and take that into consideration...then you should be perfectly fine and not have any problems. They have a wide variety of many different types of rolls, specials, etc. I 'm pretty sure that you will enjoy your dinner experience here and you most certainly won 't be disappointed! Or I at least hope not! At the very least hopefully you get to have a good roll or two. Cheers!? ????? Vegetarian options: It 's a sushi restaurant so you can order fish and rolls to your particular liking. So, it 's a great place for vegetarians to dine at. Parking: Plenty of parking for Senro Sushi customers to park. The only thing is it is a lil dark in their parking lot. So just remember that when exiting the car. Othereise you should be fine in the parking dept."
