"I had previously enjoyed a different location of Sushi House, so I decided to try this one. The menu here was different and had fewer vegetarian options, which I accepted. However, I had an unfortunate experience when the server accidentally spilled food on me while packing our dishes at the table. While accidents happen, what was unacceptable was that he tried to blame me for it instead of apologizing. He showed no intention of removing or discounting the spilled item from our bill, nor did he offer to replace the food that ended up in my hair, lap, and on the floor. Furthermore, he appeared visibly upset when we requested a replacement for the spilled portion and rudely discussed our table with his coworkers in front of us. This experience has left a bad impression, and I won't be returning to this location again."

"This place was awesome. I came on a whim and didn’t expect much but wow. The customer service was on point. The waiter suggested some good options. I ended up ordering the seaweed salad and baked salmon roll. They came out with complimentary cucumber salad and miso soup (nice big portion). Quickly after I received my meal. It was fresh, and delicious. After I was finished, they offered me free dessert. They gave me a green tea ice cream sandwich and it was delightful. I am definitely coming back again! Best sushi in the valley so far."

"I've been visiting this restaurant since it opened in the 90s, and it has always been my favorite spot for sushi. However, I've noticed a trend lately: when they get busy, particularly with takeout orders, both the food and service decline. Takeout seems to be prioritized over dine-in customers, which affects the freshness and quality of the fish. On my most recent visit, they had run out of tuna, which was disappointing—especially since I could have just gone to Whole Foods for good tuna. If you decide to visit, I recommend going on an early weekday. On Fridays and weekends, it's not worth it; the quality drops to the level of gas station sushi, and the once-friendly service disappears."

"This restaurant truly deserves the worst rating possible. The chef is unprofessional and unpleasant. We arrived an hour before closing, and it felt like he was already done for the night. We opted for some simple rolls since it was late. Even before we had the chance to order, he was yelling about where to seat us. When our food finally came, he slammed it down on the table and shouted, which made us really worried about the quality of our meal. I made the mistake of asking him to remove the shrimp tails from my tempura rolls, and that set him off. He started screaming, using profanity, and slamming doors in the kitchen. At that point, we decided to leave. If you're looking for a nice dining experience, steer clear of this place."

"When we arrived, we sat down at a table and the owner came out to greet us. She welcomed us, asked if we had another appointment, and expressed her hopes for its success. She then treated us to more incredible sushi, which was very fresh, and she remembered our drink preferences. When we mentioned our love for kimchi, she surprised us with some of her homemade version to enjoy with our meal, and it was fantastic. Overall, we felt incredibly comfortable and welcomed in this charming little restaurant. We received excellent sushi that was expertly prepared, and we were treated wonderfully by the owners. After spending several years in LA and dining at some amazing sushi spots, I’m thrilled to have found this hidden gem, and I can confidently say it will become a regular stop for us!"

"I took my partner on a date here and everything from beginning to end was perfect. All of the rolls were amazing (we had 4 different ones). The spicy edemame was delicious and we had three different drinks each (they were all great) we went in a Wednesday night so it wasn't busy at all. It has a great vibe and loved the art on the walls. We were seated right away and our server was great. We asked her for recommendations and she did. It disappoint. The place is a whole vibe. 10/10 I recommend."

"Gustavo was wonderful. Unfortunately, the sous chef who was working next to him needed a lot of help. Gustavo was constantly at her station remolding the unsatisfactory nigiri. The wait staff was piled up at the pick up station because she was working so slow. A few times Gustavo stopped service for the omakase and helped make nigiri and maki. The food was fantastic, but seeing this sous chef struggle the whole night turned the ambiance sour. I would return, but before ordering anything from the sushi bar, I would make sure this sous chef is not the one to prepare my food."
