"If I could give six stars I would. As a local, I've been coming to the Grotto for years. It was always a favorite for out of town family, my Grandfather from LA loved the cioppino. Of all the times I've been coming, I have to say the owner (Chris) and his staff are always so welcoming. The food is consistent delicious. This place stands out to me for how giving they are .. generous portions, always giving the ladies a rose when they dine.. love this. Also, I see the owners employ elders, immigrants, locals, you name it. I love seeing diversity of ages backgrounds in the staff members. I will be back soon! Thanks to the Grotto it's great team!"

"To make matters worse, it was Christmas, and the girl taking our order was yelling while my husband and I were waiting for our food. She didn’t seem to know what was going on with our order and even lost another customer’s order. It was a sad experience overall—they really need to hire a new staff. The soy sauce was in a glass container, and I had to reheat it because it looked like gelatin when I received it."

"My parents have been coming to Peking since my mom was pregnant with me. I’ve been coming to Peking all my life and they’ve always been consistent! The owners are the sweetest people and the service is always fantastic . Their Food is always amazing and comes out so quick. My favorites are the garlic chicken , curry chicken , hot and sour soup , sugar donuts ,and so many more! Also their hot tea is so good! I can’t rave enough about Peking! By Far the best Chinese food in Lakeland!!"

"This place is incredible. This was my first trip to Virginia Beach and my first time at this restaurant/bar. I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted and welcomed by the bartender/ part owner Mark. He made the entire experience great. He was very helpful with my choices in meals and my drinks were on point! The seafood was obviously fresh and cooked perfectly but the real surprise was the ny strip. I was not going to get it but after a couple brief comment's from Mark i ordered it. It was cooked perfectly snd fork tender. The seasoning was perfect. Everything I had was above expectations. I highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area or just make it a destination. I'm already looking forward to my next trip there"

"I inquired with the waiter about the raw clams and oysters on the half shell, and he confidently assured me they were raw. I ended up ordering a dish (I can’t recall the name) that included clams, shrimp, oysters, and mussels. To my surprise, only the oysters were raw; everything else had been steamed. The oysters were delicious! The rest of the dish was just okay. We found the $17 small bowl of crab dip to be flavorless, so we sent it back. The she-crab soup was good, but a bit too salty. On the bright side, the service was excellent!"

"I am very disappointed with this restaurant. First, I called to place an order, but my call was put on hold. When I received my order, some items were missing. I called back, and the response I got was not pleasant at all. I had to return to pick up the missing items, and when I finally got to eat, my food was barely warm. I really don't think I will order from here again."
