"I don’t get it. Every dish is brown, served flat on a plate. The result is a meal that (even in other people’s photos here) is simply unappetizing to look at. Trout was thin and dry, with a corn-meal rub so thick the whole dinner tasted like popcorn. The “red pesto” was flavorless, and the sides were barely warm. Shrimp Grits were tasty, but over salted and the size of an appetizer. We spent $50 each, drank only water, and left hungry and disappointed. Also, we were COLD. The outside temperature was 56, and they still had the Ai rConditioner on full blast. Good service (from poorly dressed staff) was not enough to make up for the high cost and low flavor of the food. Last note — the menu did not offer a single vegetarian meal nor a single dairy-free dessert. Shame. Vegetarian options: NONE! Place is heavy on dairy (particularly desserts) and meat.
