"Joyce was my waiter and she gave me such a nice experience for my first time coming into outback steakhouse! Food wise I had... 1: Sydney Shrooms (deep fried mushrooms) 2: Sirloin pork ribs combo with a side of vegetables and mashed potatoes 3: Aussie JAWSie alcoholic drink 4: Butter cake (comes with strawberries and whipped cream) The shrooms came with ranch dressing. Honestly, the ranch dressing made it bearable to eat the deep fried mushrooms. To me, if the shrooms werent deep fried and maybe done with a different type of breading I would have enjoyed it more. So for this I give it a 3 out of 5. The sirloin steak combo was absolutely delicious. I had my meat cooked medium and had just the right amount of soft and juicyness. The ribs were great too I just was expecting beef ribs rather than pork ribs given the price of the combo. The mixed veggies and the mashed potatoes were the sides I picked and they were great too. Overall a 4.5 out of 5 for a main course meal. The Aussie JAWSie was a fun drink to have! Comes with a toy shark on the drink sticking out. But upon inspection you can see they added the grenadine in the shark for you to pour it in and add a bloody effect to the drink which was an awesome touch for a themed drink! 5 out of 5 for sure! Lastly Butter Cake was a to-go item for me since I was already full from the sirloin ribs combo. The next day I had it and the cake definitely was rich with the butter and the strawberries helped balance out the overall flavor. 5 out of 5. TLDR: Food was great! Enjoyable experience! Great server!"

"I've been eating here every couple of months because of the Dine Rewards, not necessarily because of the atmosphere or the food, since there are so many better places to eat and steak isn't my favorite food. But this experience made us decide it's the last time. The previous time we ate here was January and we didn't use our 50% off reward because we didn't spend very much and figured we'd wait and maximize it. After this meal in April, we found out the reward had expired! In addition, when I first signed up for dine rewards, the server told me that they would always ask me for my number so I wouldn't have to remember to ask them. Well, the last 3 times, the server did not ask us and we forgot to give them our number and each time I had to call and be put on hold or go back to the restaurant to get my number put in afterwards to get credit. It was always a hassle. So this time, we were ready and remembered to give her our number, but the reward had expired and we still got nothing back. The food was fine, one 8oz sirloin with fries, a side salad, 2 draft beers; and one 6oz filet with 4 grilled shrimp, sauteed shrooms, bleu cheese pecan chopped side salad, mixed veggies, 2 glasses of wine. Seems like a normal dinner, right? You wouldn't think the bill would be $85! And after tipping, over $100! And we didn't even get our reward... and Walk-about Wednesday is no longer offered (we dined on a Wednesday). I also need to complain about the bleu cheese pecan chopped salad because I asked what mixed greens were in the salad and I was told bib and spring mix, but it was only romaine lettuce, and nothing was chopped, so I don't know why the salad is called a chopped salad. The best part about the meal was the waitress... she was very attentive and efficient... and all the staff there that evening were nice. The atmosphere, however, was mediocre because we were seated in the bar with a GIANT TV screen over our booth so we had to crowd onto the same side to keep the TV at our backs. And the lighting here is strange. Every time I eat here, I feel like there's a spotlight on me; so this time we unscrewed the lightbulb even though it was a little too dark. I'm sorry to say the food just isn't amazing, and with all these hassles and the price, we don't plan to return. Next time we'll just pick up a couple of steaks at Kroger and throw them on the BBQ. We'll get some salad and a bottle of wine and sit on our deck, and I think we'll have a more enjoyable experience."
