"As for the food, it was nothing special. My sushi rolls were a bit dry, and the seaweed lacked freshness. The presentation of my dinner consisted of assorted sushi pieces haphazardly placed on a plate. The soup and salad that came with the meal were decent, but I can't help but mention that my Japanese grandmother would be appalled if I tried to pass off the soup as authentic miso. I firmly believe the quality of the miso soup and salad is a good indicator of the dining experience to come!
I also had my expectations lowered when I realized, thanks to Google Maps, that this was not a standalone restaurant. If you’re in search of an authentic sushi experience, I would recommend looking for other places that don’t share space with another business. However, if you just want a California roll with your sake while waiting for a table at Benihana, go ahead and enjoy!"
