"I've gone to Livia on a couple of occasions, and the food has been phenomenal. The eggplant parm is a favorite and the lobster bisque.... well, there may be a half a stick of butter in that little serving, but my oh my- I'd go back there just for that. The atmosphere is good, the service is OK. They get a little overwhelmed on busy nights, but the food comes out hot and on time. Bottom line is I will absolutely be going back and would recommend this place to anyone!"

"The food was disgusting, we returned 6 out of 7 appetizers that were served to us. The poor quality meat is poorly cooked and has a bad taste. They calculated every last cent of the bill. "We had our first visit as a party of five and it was a delightful experience. We were warmly welcomed with smiles, and our waitress was attentive and wonderful throughout our meal. The manager also stopped by our table to greet us and check on how we were enjoying our time. We started with a happy hour cocktail while we waited for the whole party to arrive. The food was excellent, from the She Crab Soup and Brussels sprouts as appetizers to the delicious burger, chicken sandwich, and crab-stuffed trout for our main dishes. For dessert, we enjoyed cookies with milk and a warm apple tart a la mode, both of which were fantastic! The atmosphere was lovely, and we will definitely be returning for another meal!"

"What a shame that a Denver icon like the Wazee Supper Club is closing, especially to make way for yet another upscale overpriced restaurant. For decades, the Wazee has offered delicious, high-quality pizza at a great price, and in a comfortable, casual setting. The other night we took advantage of the buy one, get one pizza deal. Needless to say, we each got one to go. Located just beyond the commercialized 16th Street Mall, the food, ambience, and service provide a reprieve from the chain restaurants that make Denver an impersonal clone of so many downtown areas. The Wazee is an original, a maverick; taking you to what used to be the seamy side of Denver. Back in the day, you threaded your way under the viaduct and stopped in for dinner and a drink before dancing the night away at Rock Island. The Wazee will be missed!"

"Went here on a Sunday afternoon and was seated as a party of two with no wait. Service was okay; water was quick to get filled and our orders were taken in a decent amount of time. My issue is this restaurant tries very hard to be chic when it doesn’t really come close to it. Their dress code is enforced when they feel like it and we were originally turned away for wearing a tank top while someone else walked right past us with one. The food is not amazing enough for the level of class they try to convey or the prices really. We ordered their wood grilled rib eye, ruby red trout, and their iron skillet cornbread bites. Cornbread was okay, not too crumby or cakey. I can confidently say it was ideal for the price. What I would recommend was the red trout juicy and well prepared and was decently balanced with the lightness of the coleslaw. The steak on the other hand, was not really worth the price too chewy, hard, and on the drier side. I can confidently say you can probably find a better place with American style food out near Corona Del Mar so don’t let this be your first choice. Parking: Free parking lot attached but it gets filled pretty quickly. Free street parking up a little ahead."

"Having not been to Hillstone in many years I was very impressed with the whole experience. I was able to book a reservation through the website and then we were greeted when arriving. I requested a booth for a birthday lunch and was seated at one. Perfect. I had a water with lemon and my Mom had an iced tea. The waitress was great in refilling the water. My only suggestion is to provide the same sized glasses for water as other beverages. With the cost of any meal at Hillstone it's a small jab for not paying for a tea/soda/alcoholic drink to only give a small glass. The artichoke is a fun appetizer to start the meal. It is smoked and served with remoulade. They give you four quarters and it was more than enough for 2 people (took some home). The French dip is divine. It is perfectly sliced prime rib on a delicious bun with a side of au jus and coleslaw or French fries. I tried the coleslaw and it was good but nothing unique. I'll try the fries next go round. The Thai steak noodle salad was good but a bit overdressed. A good portion for lunch or dinner. I wanted to highlight the GM Will Dasco who went above and beyond during our meal. The parking lots have some space but it fills up quickly. There is street meter parking as well. Definitely will come back soon."

"Overall was good food but may not be worth the gamble on service. We came here for my birthday and we were pretty disappointed. We got sat right away but that's where it went downhill. We waited for ahwhile before anybody came and then the server was notrude, but certainly not friendly. After our food came we only saw our server a couple of times, one of those times to bring ourbill, and she didn't ask us if we wanted dessert, even after we had inquired about dessert early on with her. After she set downthe check and walked about we decided we will just go somewhere else for a birthday dessert and tried to pay. Our card sat thereon the check and time when by until a different server saw it and picked it up to help us get out of there. Then more time wentby and our card was still not being returned, then our original server came up and asked us if somebody else had taken thecheck. I'm all for servers helping each other out but it's a very uneasy feeling when your server doesn't even know where yourcard is."

"I met a couple of friends at Bandera for dinner. It was awesome! The grilled artichokes were amazing. I had the French Dip and it was great there is a reason so many people say it's the best. It is. One of the guys had the Tri Tip and Enchilada. It looked amazing and he said it was his go to dinner item at Bandera. Service was really great. We specifically requested for a booth facing the ocean for sunset dinner way ahead of our scheduled visit. Indicated that we were celebrating my daughter's graduation. When we arrived, she led us to a table not as requested and when i said politely of My requests she said those tables amd seats were paid for and that a lot of people are requesting for those seats and i cannot accomodate you. There were other vacant tables , but she insisted that we have to pay in order to have those seats. We were ready to spend $500 for a dinner but ended up ordering salad and appetizer because of how rude she was before we left in spoke to the waiter attending to us and he was nice at least this one. Zz at one point we requested for extra plate because we needed it and so then we were asked how Many do we need? It waa for the appetizers and there were three of us. Before we left i spoke to Jeff who seems to be a head at that time... he assured me he will escalate and retrain jenny... overall Bad Experience, Food was not that impressive. the view is the selli g point however with that very bad service, i'd rather sit by the rock on the shore and eat a humble food.
