"However, about three minutes into charging, another man—who appeared to be either a part-owner or a staff member—approached me rudely and said, “You shouldn’t come into people’s business and charge your phone without asking for permission.” I was taken aback, as he was not the same person I had spoken to earlier. I explained that I had indeed asked for permission and that his colleague had given it. Instead of apologizing, he simply walked away, leaving me feeling embarrassed in front of other customers.
Feeling both humiliated and shocked by the treatment I received, I unplugged my charger and told him to have a nice day. Thankfully, I had managed to get my battery from 3% to 7%. I am grateful to the kind employee who initially allowed me to charge my phone. I am giving this restaurant a one-star rating to emphasize the importance of treating others with kindness. You never know what someone else might be going through or how their day has been."
