"Jacoby was extremely rude and took ice cream without paying for it, on top of that he insulted me and is very rude to other customers. He revealed that revealing the entire nitrogen container is around 200 dollars and the product cost which shouldn't be disclosed to conceal the markup of the prices. All of this makes the company look extremely bad especially due to the fact that they continue to allow him and his friends which he is unprofessional with continue to work there without any disciplinary action or warning."

"The food is outstanding and they have daily specials that actually change daily so make sure not to miss out if you see something good. The food is unique for an ice cream spot; the chicken wings are legitimately good, I got apple pie pot stickers that were heavenly, the curly fries are among the best I've ever had. And then we get to the ice cream, I love how the apple ice cream has actual apples in it, same with the blueberry with actual blueberries. If you're feeling up to it, get yourself a monster milkshake, it's like a 32oz beast. Everyone working is very friendly, it's always spotless when I go in. Fantastic food and ice cream joint."

"I am generally careful before giving a five star review, but this place has me teetering a bit between four and five so I felt a more in depth review was in order. I think that Der Dutchman does a very good job at what they do. They have a decent bakery and store in addition to the restaurant. The food is a decent quality, I have never had bad service and the restaurant is very clean. I can think of no reasons to dock it a star. However, I do think what they provide can be found other places at a higher level of quality and taste. However, that would mean possibly going to three different places to get what you can get under one roof here. What Der Dutchman provides is a home cooking baking experience for a good price with good quality without driving up north to Holmes County and there is a lot to be said for that. However, if you want a donut or pie or roast beef on their own, you can find better. It is just going to be a little looking around."

"Placed 2 waffle bowl orders, one of them came out right away, the second one didn’t come up till we went up and asked about it. When I went up to ask about my second bowl, turns out nobody was making it because they were out of a chocolate dipped bowls even though we already told them we were fine without it being dipped. There were 8 staff members just standing talking to each other, not doing anything. After that, 2 minutes later and a staff member comes up to us letting us know that they ran out of the ice cream we wanted. I also tried to place another order to go to which the staff member left to find someone else to take my order even though they weren’t doing anything. Ice cream is good but the place is very unprofessional."

"The cashier had attitude from the moment we walked in, clearly upset that we entered after 9 (why not say you?re closed rather than serve us? . My wife ordered 2 small cups and was given one small cup with 2 flavors. Honestly, no problem! We asked for another cup instead so that we could split it for our guests. She gave it to us and right after said ?you?re not allowed to do this,? with a rude tone and an even ruder face. We told her she heard us wrong and gave us the wrong order. Not our fault and she didn?t need to give us the second cup if it wasn?t allowed. She continued to talk down to us as if we were stupid. None of this had to happen. If she wasn?t going to serve us kindly, she could have just said they were closed. If the cup wasn?t allowed, she could have told us to order another or just not given us the cup. Such an annoying memory on a nice night. This occurred on 5/31/22 at 9:15pm."
