"Hello, I went today to the location for the first time. We got there and upon being greeted, we asked the server how they were doing and they stated “over worked and under paid”. We just laughed it off hoping she was just having a bad day. We than asked about the mimosas and they stated they only had enough for 2 pours but asked if we still wanted to do bottomless, which we said no of course because it wasn’t going to be bottomless. It took 40min for us to get our food even though there were only 4 parties of 2 or less there and a person who got there after us received their food before us. We had ordered the stuffed French toast and the LG. The server informed us after we had ordered that there was not any pre made cream cheese however, they did have regular cream cheese so they could use that if I was ok with it, which I was. However, she came out 5 minutes before the food came and told us that they actually had no cream cheese and I would just be getting plain French toast with fruit and bacon. I didn’t want to wait any longer so I went along with it. She brought out literally just French toast and bacon. We asked where the fruit was and it took her another 10min to bring the fruit out. During this we found that the “green tomatoes” were actually red tomatoes and they had gone bad, they were clearly lumpy and white. The whole experience was awful. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20"

"My experience was awful to say the least. I came here a year ago, but things are not the same. They say that familiarity breeds contempt; well this place is the poster child for a “good thing” that has become all to familiar with excellence, and after some time, has simply “let go” of itself. Walking up to this once quaint establishment, the awnings now filthy and stained, with the outside decor looking like it’s a vacant building. The service was a complete “plane crash” to put it lightly, and my “out of town” guests commented on this fact because it was so apparent from the moment we walked in. They asked to leave this establishment after the drinks came out! We witnessed the hostess conducting a makeshift cleanup effort, as the dining area clearly had not been cleaned from the day before. We watched them sweep dirt from under the table, and the spray the table top with Clorox aerosol and give it a quick wipe down before my large party was seated. There were huge Flesh flies all over the place. I don’t mean the little house flies, but the huge black ones with identifiable white stripes on them. The place looked nasty. The window filled with the carcasses of dead insects. No insect traps in sight. I could go on, but the gist of my message is to be weary of this place fellow patrons. It is clearly not what it used to be. I think that the kitchen is not up to snuff either. The greeter was seating people, and cooking collards at the same time. I witnessed a large party get up and leave after experiencing the relative unease permeating from the same things that I am explaining. This place was cheerless and atmosphere-less. Even though I took my order to go way before it all came off the cooking top, I was still charged the dine in gratuity and not asked what the problem was. They wanted us gone without complaint. They would rather take the loss of business than deal with our indifference."
