"This place requires no introduction within the community, but I feel that more people should know about this restaurant! This is not my first-time trying Uzbek cuisine but I?ve to say Taste of Samarkand blew me away in terms of their ambience, price and ofcourse the food. This was way better than Farida (ok food, crazy prices) imho. What?s even better was that they allowed someitems to be ordered in pieces (manti, bread, kebab skewers) in which was perfect for my case (party of 2) and we got to try avariety of dishes. Everything from the fruit punch to the dishes itself were amazing, my favorite was the Uzbek Manti and LambKebab. The bill came to $45 including 15% tips that was already included (apparently it was stated in the menu, but I overlookedit and paid additional tips, my bad) so a pro-tip for all you first timers ???? If you are hesitant to try other culture's food,I urge you to be brave and embrace different cuisine with an open heart as it might just be your go-to comfort food from thenon."
