"This is now one of our favorite places to go for vegan options. We get the Bean Curd Soup that comes with an assortment of vegetables and Tofu. We also get the mushroom fried rice ordered without eggs and the house vegetable deluxe which comes withwhite steamed rice. The staff is excellent and funny and really goes above and beyond for their guests. They were also one ofthe top restaurants when asked who had the best service in DeKalb County Area Restaurant Foodies Group. PS: There is noguarantee that this is made without meat products as most restaurants use the same grills and equipment that cooks meatproducts."

"You must try this place! The food is beyond delicious, but the staff are really what made our meal enjoyable! Our waitress suggested we get the sticky rice and mango for dessert, but it was more of a command than a suggestion because she wouldn’t take no for an answer. Haha. She knew what she was talking about. — it was SOO GOOOOD! We were the last customers of the night and before she would charge our bill she insisted on reading our palms. We could tell that she really knew her stuff and appreciated her knowledge. The entire walk home we all talked about the different things she had seen on our palms and how fun the evening had been. We will be going back!!"

"Was giving peanut soup with boiled shrimp for panang curry which was very bland and watery! Asked for veggies and was given almost raw veggies (bell peppers and onions to be exact) that was just yikes! Will not stop here again! Better off trying the Thai restaurant on Halsted and Belmont! Better food and service! Service was not great at all!!!"

"My mind is blown!!! Thai Orchid is a very unassuming looking spot, my boyfriend and I passed by it a few times on our walks, and I am SO glad we finally stopped in. We so impressed by the calamari $7!!! which was fresh and fried to perfection. I ordered the stir fried Thai Orchid bamboo with duck, and my boyfriend ordered the Siam chicken.
