"This place is horrible now, use to love coming here but made reservations and no water or contact with a server for 20min after being seated. There was one couple at a table upstairs and three servers at the bar obviously not doing there job. Walked out and they said thanks for coming, no clue about anything going on in the restaurant. I will not recommend or be returning."

"Had a very nice lunch with delicious food and drink and a great waiter, Paul, in the wonderful covered outdoor area. All good with the exception of two items: 1) It was a bit chilly that early afternoon and the ceiling fan made it a little less than comfortable, although on our part we did not ask if the fan could be turned down or off... 2) Near the end of our meal a contractor started to use a drill on what looked like an exterior repair and it was a little obnoxious but we were dawdling after our wonderful respite from the day and it reminded us that it was time to leave: Thank you Cafe Nell!"

"Today's Olympian did an article on this restaurant. It has been closed through the Covid pandemic.according to the article, the current owner, Daniel Vavrinee, has no current plans to reopen. In the past, one never dined here for the food, which was passable, but for the beautiful location. We can only hope that this restaurant will be sold to someone who can do right by the location."

"This is an unassuming restaurant sitting at the lobby of Hilton Hotel. Most will expect it to be a breakfast place and a bar at night with average food offerings. Since the restaurant week last year, this restaurant has once again surprised us. We went last year mainly because of its high ceiling and lots of “air space”. This plus the sparse crowd makes it safer in the mist of the pandemic. But we didn’t expect the food to be that good! The lamb lollipops are actually beautifully seasoned and cooked lamb chops. The roast chicken, salmon, steak are not only delicious but generous in portion. Waiting staff are prompt, courteous and friendly. Sitting at the hotel lobby, especially a modest one seems a bit awkward but the space makes it really comfortable during this Covid pandemic. This is a real gem hidden in the quiet part of Bellevue. Excellent food and value. We were there for lunch on Wednesday and back on Friday night with my daughter for dinner as it is one of the very few places with great food but not crowded. Highly recommended!"

"I had the pan fried oysters of which three of the oysters did not taste as fresh as the others I.e. a hint of bitterness to them. And on the menu it was written asparagus but served broccolini instead. And the garlic mashed potatoes were most likely whipped rather than mashed/riced causing them to be glue-like. Also too much garlic in them, I 'll be protected from vampires for days. My partner also said there was too much garlic in his risotto for his taste but that otherwise it was good. Our waitress was very good and we didn 't let her know how we felt about the food but thought you might welcome the input....or not. I have a cooking/restaurant background and know how hard it is to maintain food quality so I do wish you the best. Carry on!!! "Our server was delightful. She served 12 of us and her service was great to reach and every one of us. My food? Not so great. The French fries were awesome. The Cesar salad was a bit too drenched in dressing but OK. The French Dip was tasteless. The meat has no seasoning, and the Au jus was like colored water with no taste at all. I had to settle for horseradish sauce to give the sandwich any flavor. So instead of a French Dip, I had a blase' roast beef sandwich. I won't be rushing back anytime … – show"

"The Stockpot is an elegant restaurant. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and the food was excellent, although a little more lobster in the lobster bisque would be nice. The service was impeccable--I have not seen this level of service since Covid impacted all types of service industries. Both our server and the busboy (sorry I don't know the PC term) were very attentive. Our server was helpful with the wine selection and informative about proportions. We plan to return very soon. It's also a nice advantage to support a local business."
