"We've been visiting Alebrije's for many years, and the food has always been delicious. However, the reason for the three-star rating is the service we received. While our waiter was friendly and took our order promptly, the service faltered after that. Our drinks and meals arrived quickly, and he checked in with us initially to make sure everything was okay. Unfortunately, after that, he disappeared for over 30 minutes, despite the restaurant not being very busy and several other waiters available.
We wanted to order fried ice cream for dessert, but we almost skipped it due to the long wait. Eventually, we managed to order it, but once it arrived, the waiter again left us unattended for another 20 to 30 minutes. We ended up organizing our table and gathering our things, and at one point, we even stood up for nearly five minutes while waiting for our check. I finally caught his attention as he walked by and asked for the bill, which he had ready. We paid and left, with our total visit lasting about 90 minutes. Unfortunately, we won't be returning for a while."
