"We used to visit this restaurant frequently. Initially, it was known for its delicious food, cleanliness, and excellent service. My family and I came in expecting a good experience like our previous visits, but several issues led us to decide that we won't be returning.
1) First, it took quite a while for us to be seated, even though there were only two other families in the restaurant. To make matters worse, the air conditioning was broken, leaving us to wait in the heat.
2) While preparing our Create Your Own Bowl, we discovered a cockroach in the calamari. When we brought this to the attention of a staff member, she simply took the food container to the kitchen without offering any apology or explanation. This incident completely ruined our appetite. We later learned that the owner was reluctant to hire an exterminator due to cost concerns.
3) There was a distinct lack of apologies from both the manager and the staff. Although the manager did eventually assist us when he noticed we were being neglected, he failed to acknowledge the cockroach incident or the poor attitude of the staff member.
Having worked in two fast food restaurants myself, I understand the challenges that can arise and usually try to remain understanding. However, this experience was unacceptable, and I was genuinely disappointed. The overall quality of the restaurant has significantly declined from what it used to be."
