"Went there with my husband for a date n nite . The food was awesome and so was the service I ordered a petite skirt steak meal. The steak was so tender and juicy that you did not even need a knife to cut it.. the creamed spinach was delicious and so creamy. My had filet mignon that was cooked to perfection and mouthwatering. I recommend Frank’s steakhouse to everybody specially, if you’d like a nice date night like we had or just to go there and just have some really really good food."

"The initial reception was a bit frosty but our request to change our seating from indoor to outdoor was honored. It took a while for our server to be told we were waiting but once he came he was wonderful. Greg paid great attention to our comfort and the flow of our meal. The food was not only pleasing to the site, it was well porportioned and so delicious, fresh. The tvs were on and tuned to the Eagles game. So at times the volume was a bit loud. The outdoor section was not very full on our visit so we sat closer to the bar area. I think on a subsequent visit I should like to sit away from that area. The area overlooks a beautiful golf green and on a nice late summer early fall evening, this is a refreshing option to an enclosed building. Very, very nice. Serene. Thank you Tavola. I will be back!"

"I love Thai Winchester! My husband and I visit Thai Winchester nearly every week. 1. The restaurant is clean and cozy, and the servers are kind and helpful. 2. If you go for lunch on a week day, you get a fried veggie crispy roll and a small side salad. I don't think the dressing on the salad is vegan (it looks cream-based), though, but I'm not sure. (I've been there for lunch on a week day only once 3. As far as appetizers go, I've had the fried tofu (it's nothing special it's exactly what it says: fried tofu), summer rolls (good if you love basil and my go-to appetizer, veggie crispy rolls. The rolls are the small, super crispy kind. I love them! 4. I've had most of the vegetarian entrees: LOVE: -cashew nuts LIKE: -kra pow -stir-fried ginger -red curry -green curry -panang curry -pad thai (good, but only if you like a very sweet pad thai) -thai fried rice (I've had this twice. It was amazingly flavorful the first time, but bland the second time) DISLIKE: -pad phed pha (this is a dish with peppercorns, and the peppercorns really take over. Order only if you LOVE peppercorns, because that's all you'll be able to taste) -massaman curry (but that could just be because I'm not into yellow curry I've never had this dish anywhere else This is my favorite restaurant in Winchester, and if you haven't already, I encourage you to visit! NOTE: We've also visited Thai Winchester II (only once), and we did not enjoy it enough to return. The restaurant is smaller and the food wasn't as good. I'd rather make the short drive to the walking mall rather than visit Thai Win II again. It may have just been a bad day for them, though."

"I’m truly disappointed to share this review, but my experience reflects how poorly this restaurant treats its guests. We had five unfortunate encounters in just one night. My friends and I arrived hoping to enjoy a meal together. Here’s what happened: 1. We requested a table for nine at the reception. The staff initially checked and said it was fine, but then he stumbled and started acting strangely after speaking to someone else. His response: He asked for our IDs to confirm our ages. A few of us had them, but we were not planning to drink alcohol anyway. Then, he informed us that without IDs, there was no table available. 2. We asked if we could at least get some water. His response: "Sorry, we cannot serve you anything." 3. We inquired about placing a takeout order. He replied: "I'm sorry, but you can't be in the restaurant without IDs. You’ll need to order from outside, which is all we can do for you." 4. The worst part came when we decided to wait for our cab under their covered outdoor seating area, as it was raining. The staff came outside and told us: "We cannot allow you to be here. You need to move outside." 5. We explained that it was raining and we just needed a bit of cover while we waited. Their response was: "Yes, but you can wait on the curbside." I have never felt so insulted in my life. It was disheartening to see such disregard for customers from a place like Tavern. I truly hope they reevaluate their approach to hospitality."

"Arrived 15 early for reservation, told hostess we were early but would wait if needed to honor our Open Table reservation. She said no problem we will seat you early. Took 25 minutes to receive our drink order. A group of four was seated 20 minutes after us, but they received their orders 10 minutes before ours (2 of us). Food was okay, then 4 hours later I received an email from Open Table we were a no show. We’ve had great experiences here previously. Hopefully this is a one time visit not up to par."

"We drove two hours to my husband's birthday brunch on Sunday. We were hoping to sit outside and watch the freighters go by. The outside deck was closed and that was sad as it was such a beautiful day. This was not mentioned on their website. Our waiter Tony was personable and perfect. He was the best part of our dining experience. We won't be back as the food was only fair and a disappointment. There were several options, but the fish was mushy, the beef and peppers were tough, the eggs benedict were overcooked, the bacon was too salty. The desserts were substandard. The peach cobbler was made from canned peaches, the eclairs and strudel were still frozen. My husband liked the waffles, roast beef, ham, and breakfast sausages. Others had told us the food wasn't great but we wanted to eat outside so we took a chance. We should have listened to our friends and family."

"Don't pay attention to the one-star reviews. This place has a warm atmosphere that's perfect for conversation, and it's much quieter than other bars in the area. The food is fantastic, and during happy hour, the prices are really reasonable (after all, you are at a bar where drinks can be pricey, but happy hour makes it much more affordable). The bartenders are friendly and attentive, always available when you need them. The food is truly excellent! The family that runs the place is wonderful too. They maintain a strict no-tolerance policy for disrespectful behavior, so if you're planning to get overly drunk and rowdy, you might want to think twice. The outdoor seating is lovely. I've been here for several dates and have always had a great experience. You won't feel rushed to place your order like you do in some other bars. This is a peaceful bar/restaurant, and the family genuinely cares for their customers. Anthony, the head bartender, is a hardworking guy who always does his best to help, even when things get busy. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for a date, a solo visit, or just hanging out with friends. The atmosphere is great. "Please read!!!!! I'm a longtime fan of your store have always thought a trip to Savannah is never complete without stopping for pralines. My parents brought me home a variety pack of your pralines/bear claws from their visit a few days ago, and a few of the treats have fuzzy white mold on them. We realized this after a bite was already taken out of one. None were past expiration or in open packages. Is there any way we could be refunded without being in store, as we live over 8 hours away? Really hoping you can right this wrong, even if a refund isn't possible."

"Overall, we enjoyed our lunch. The student servers were sincere and tried hard to make our meal enjoyable. However, the first course Tartiflette, which is basically potatoes au gratin, was very undercooked. The potatoes were crunchy and very hard. Apparently, that is how they're supposed to be. Seriously?? Who enjoys eating crunchy potatoes? We were allowed to choose another dish, which was good. The Angus Strip Loin was tasty, and the marjolaine dessert was excellent. The table right next to the entrance corridor, alongside the half wall, in front of the wine display glass, is not a great spot. When you make your reservation, ask not to be seated there."
