"The server was very friendly and clearly busy. We ordered the roasted pimento appetizer, which was a bit on the greasy side. I tried the Twisted Ham Sandwich, and it was REALLY GOOD—I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, I was disappointed to find that the $4 upgrade for onion rings instead of chips only got me four onion rings. At $1 each, that felt like a lot. I also expected the onion rings to be freshly cut based on the description, but instead, they were frozen, which I wasn’t a fan of. My wife had the chili, which was decent but heavy on beans and light on meat. She found it too sweet for her taste. As for the iced tea, it wasn’t brewed but rather Lipton, which we didn’t ask for. Overall, this is a charming little neighborhood spot that we’ve only visited a few times. It has a great atmosphere and friendly people. We enjoy the burgers and look forward to going back. We prefer supporting local businesses over big chains."
