"I picked up takeout from this restaurant and just had the margherita pizza with fresh mozzarella. It’s the closest experience to Italy I've had here in the States! The flavor is fantastic! The mozzarella sticks are incredibly delicious with a beer batter, especially when dipped in the ranch dressing. I can't wait to get home and try the spinach ravioli!"

"I placed an order through DoorDash, but one item was missing. When I called the restaurant, they informed me that the item hadn’t been given to the driver because it was still cooking, yet they let him leave without my complete order. DoorDash arranged for a redelivery, but when the driver arrived, they had given my food to someone else. This caused my driver and my kids to wait for an extra hour. I received no apologies, and when I called the restaurant again, the employee said they wouldn’t provide any credit for the inconvenience. I asked for the names of the staff on shift since I was advised to call back the next day when the owner would be there. Instead of helping me, they hung up on me. I remained calm but was very disappointed, especially since I order from this restaurant quite often. The service was completely unacceptable."

"The pizza and wings were quite good, though they seemed a bit hastily made. I ordered half with pepperoni and black olives; unfortunately, 3 or 4 slices had no seasoning on them. The black olives were piled in one spot as well. I wasn't a fan of the Bleu cheese, but I tend to be quite particular when it comes to that."

"The food here is good. However, the people who work at this restaurant are extremely rude. They gave me a hard time about using their bathroom, getting a complimentary cup of water and having my french fries before the rest of my order was ready. Further, they insisted upon playing CNN on a television in the dining room. They were so hostile toward me that I was moderately concerned about them putting something in my food and I checked it carefully before I ate it. It was actually comical how rude they were. I kept thinking to myself that I was in some kind of comedy sketch on how someone off the street would react to very rude staff at a restaurant.I was at this restaurant at around 2 pm on a weekday and I was the only customer in the restaurant. I think they would have a lot more business if they had a better attitude toward their customers."

"I absolutely adore their specialty pizzas and wide range of menu options, including breakfast! The ambiance is perfect for catching a game, and they host free events every night. It's a family-friendly spot where kids eat for free and there are complimentary pool and shuffle board. There isn't a bad seat in the house to watch TV. I highly recommend this place. The staff is friendly and full of energy!"

"We finally got the chance to try Assaggio's out the other day, and it was better than we ever expected. We got a meat lovers pizza, fried ravioli, and the garlic knots. The fried ravioli was hands down the best fried ravioli I've ever had. All of thestaff was super nice, and asked us a few times to make sure we were happy with our food. The staff was also very helpful withhelping us figure out what we wanted to eat. I highly recommend trying Assaggio's, if you are anywhere near Fuquay!"

"Editted to add photos of our next visit. Still great! We went at lunchtime and had the lunchtime specials. My expectations were low and I was taken by surprise. I wish I had taken shots of the food. Amazing by itself, but at that price point, wow. We were given fresh garlic bread to start, really good, but not the star of the show. I had the fried chicken sandwich with ceasar salad. The chicken sandwich was superb, not greasy in the slightest. Served with lettuce, tomato and onion on a sub. As Europeans we joke Americans use bread to stop their hands getting messy, but this was great. Tasty with a good bite. This was served with a ceasar salad and the dressing was homemade as was the crouton. It was easily one of the best I had had. Price $11, great value! My wife had chicken piccata with two chicken cutlets and homemade frest pasta. $13, beat that. Genuine bistro food at fast food prices. Great staff, the owner was also very nice. You can tell the people take pride in what they do. As you can tell we were very happy with what we got for our money. We will be back."

"As someone who came from up north, this is by far the closest to NY style pizza I have found in the area. Our family loves this pizza, and it is our go to place. That being said, we tried one of their pasta dishes our last visit and it was terrible. It honestly tasted like plastic. The calzones were good, although one of them was soggy in the middle, which was obviously not very appetizing. The other came out much better and was enjoyable. We usually get takeout, but they do have seating at the restaurant itself. It's a smaller place, with nothing too fancy. You order at the counter and then sit and wait for your food."

"Absolutely terrible, avoit at all cost. My wife and I recently moved to the area and decided to try this place. We went there to order to go and the person taking our order was not only rude and u helpful but also did not know the menu or the prices. We ordered chicken masala (one of the most common Italian dishes out there) and they told us there was no spaghetti we had to choose either rigatoni or elbows, We chose rigatoni. We also got a short rib sandwich, arancini, and zucchini fires. They told us it would be about 20 min so I paid (left a 20% tip) and said we woild be back. When we came back 20 min later the food was not even started. We waited for another 20 min wile they made our food. When we finally got home with our order we opened the bag and found thsy the chicken masala was over linguini (wasn't even an option we were given) had no sauce, and was flavorless. They essentially sautéed some checked and there canned mushrooms on top. The short rib sandwich had a single tiny peice of chewy steak in it with cheese wiz, horrible and mostly bread. The zucchini wasn't even fried as we had expected but rather was also sautéed and mushy and just had some pasta sauce thrown on top. See pictures I have attached below. Worst Italian food I have ever had. Better off trying to get Italian at taco bell. STAY AWAY!"

"Ordered delivery here through door dash. Pictured is the large Italian sub and onion rings. The sub comes with ham, salami, provolone, lettuce, tomato, mayo, onion, banana peppers, oil and vinegar. The sub was good but I wish restaurants would not usethose end slices of tomato : The sub could have used some more banana peppers and some oregano. The oil and vinegar was goodbut they should separate them in the container (i.e. oil in one and vinegar in another) I?ll have to request that next time.Overall, I would order it again. Nice and warm. The onion rings were tasty and a good portion, nice and crisp. FYI, they did notcome with any dipping sauce. I would order from here again!"

"I ordered a medium-thin crust meat lover pizza shortly before closing time. It was ready on time for me to take it home so the employees could leave on time. I informed them that not only did they make the pizza late, but they were also about to close the business. Despite this, they still treated me poorly and rudely, refusing to provide any further explanation or remedy. This behavior was extremely unprofessional and completely unacceptable. If I am charged for this service, I will be contacting my lawyer."

"This shop is run by Alex and his wife, whose name is escaping me at the moment, but my Dad and I order there often. Always hot, fresh, good food and good pricing, with plenty of options. I don’t see their prices at any other restaurant, esp with inflation these days. Super affordable. They’re both friendly people and are hard working small business owners.Parking: Accessible on street parkingDietary restrictions: I didn’t have any myself, but Alex and his wife make the food to order right in front of you. Plus, I saw a box for something that said “halal” on it, so he must have options for that as well."

"we really enjoyed the house pizza. they also have regular traditional cakes. but I came for this style. the best description would be a cheese on the lower pizza or more precisely the cheese is a tip of the crust then sown. we ordered it as a large square size. they will also make it round and in 2 sizes. it is a crispy crust, then the layer of the cheese with a savoryrote sauce, then finished with a torte parmesan cheese. it's pizza, sure. but this little change is a completely different pizza experience. the place has many seats, stands and tables. very causal. order them in the counter service to the table. looks like a nice selection of wings and soße choices, subs, salate and other evening dinners. I'd go back, just for this cake, but I'm gonna try more items next time."

"The Greek salad had little flavor and the insides of the Calzone was not melted/mixed very well. It's like they took a piece of ham and folded it and put it inside. The service was mediocre at best. The guy was not friendly and was rushing. I understand they are busy with people calling to order but don't forget about customer service. I don't order from Tony's very much mainly since none are close to me but it was a disappointing experience. Hopefully it was just an off night for them."

"Seriously the best pizza I have had in Pittsburgh, especially the supreme. The crust is not too thick or doughy and the toppings go right to the rim of the pizza, so I'm not left with an unwanted breadstick when I'm done with my slice. When we moved away from the area, we still make the 20 min drive here to pick it up rather than going somewhere else. Full pizzas are usually ready by the time I get there. I guess they have ice cream too, but who cares! A true undiscovered gem!"
