"My husband and I decided to try this restaurant during Restaurant Week, as we had never been before, and we were blown away! The atmosphere was charming and elegant, with classic music playing in the background. Our server was prompt and friendly, helping us choose a delicious bottle of Malbec. For starters, I had the fried eggplant Napoleon, which was heavenly with a light breading and fresh tomato sauce. My husband enjoyed the pane cotta, which was hearty and flavorful. We also loved the bread served with dipping oil. For our main courses, my husband had the salmon with gnocchi, which was perfectly cooked with a creamy sauce and fluffy gnocchi. I opted for the chicken scallopini with spinach and roasted baby potatoes, which was also delicious with a zesty lemon sauce. Dessert was a treat, with the chocolate mousse cake and lemon tart both being fantastic. The service was attentive and not intrusive, and the outdoor patio looked inviting for future visits. We will definitely be returning to this gem of a restaurant."

"If you enjoy dry carrot cake with minimal cream cheese frosting and an abundance of nuts that are as crunchy as trail mix, then this restaurant might be the right choice for you. It appears that they prefer to use whipped cream instead of buttercream for the outer frosting, which I find unappealing. While I love whipped cream, using it as the primary frosting feels cheap and lacks flavor. You'd be better off grabbing a slice of carrot cake from Susie Cakes, Whole Foods, Bristol Farms, or anywhere else, really. Even Ralph's offers a better option—just $3 a slice, allowing you to save $6 and leave with a smile after enjoying a moist piece topped with a generous layer of delicious cream cheese buttercream frosting."

"Located in Bernardsville, this restaurant is a consistently reliable choice known for its excellent pasta dishes and welcoming atmosphere. While we used to frequent this spot often, we haven't been as much in recent years. The food, especially the pastas, remain top-notch, and the Romana salad was a standout with its light Caesar dressing. The service has always been exceptional, although prices have crept up over the years. Despite that, it's still worth a visit from time to time."

"Spread the word!!! This place is amazing. Worth every dollar. I had the filet. I feel like I need a thesaurus right now, because perfectly cooked does not capture what I want to say. My wife had the scallops, and said they were the best she had ever had. That’s huge coming from a native Floridian. An added bonus tonight was meeting the mother and sister of Chef Jason. We WILL be back."

"We stopped ordering from this restaurant some time ago because their pizza just didn't compare to other places. However, after receiving a gift certificate, we decided to give it another chance. We ordered a medium vegetarian pizza without peppers or mushrooms, but what we received was a bland and undercooked pie topped with just onions and a sprinkle of spinach. There were no tomatoes or olives, and it was lacking in seasoning. The pepperoni pizza we got for the kids looked just as unappetizing, though at least the cheese was slightly more melted than on the veggie pizza. This experience served as a reminder of why we stopped coming here in the first place, and we don’t plan to return."

"Good. But a tad expensive. you should make at least 2 or 3 pizzas between 1:30-2:30? I know they're already selling single discs, but the last four times I am? You look like her? ve sat there since lunchtime and that's not very appealing, but on the other hand, if it were fresh, it would be the bomb dot com! Your hand cuts are also the best!!! Mhhhhhhhh"

"It's small, mostly take out, two tables. But the place is hopping with take out orders. We went to the auto place next door, and decided to try out of hunger and aroma! The pizza was amazing and we ordered a one size fry for 7.99 that was huge! Basic crinkle fries, but cooked and crispy. Plenty to share!!The pizza was a crisp crust, not like Papa Gino's Domino's. Just light and flavorful! The Alfredo sauce was seasoned just right. Not too much garlic like some restaurants. Parking: It's a small location, but DEFINITELY worth it!!!"

"this is our fifth year here, and tonight we have always been happy to come here as our Carb meal before we walk in the cape cod half the next morning. Unfortunately, our meal this evening left much to be desired. Although we sat in a very desirable place, we did not fulfill much more our expectations. first was the broth they brought on the table, cold and stale. then our meat and cheese board, which was filled with 4 different cheese and 3 meats, was thrown off at our table, without information about the kind they were, something that every high-end restaurant that we have in the past have always offered to identify. our spinat and salat pages were good, but when our pastas entrees came out, they were at best lukewarm, although the tellers were hot, what surprised us all, as they could have prepared it so, because clearly our pasta sat for a because. and finally, when I made this reservation in open table, I was asked if this was a special occasion that I answered. either the restaurant does not even read these special desires or chose to ignore them, because nothing was recognized at all. I usually don't even cripple, and I should have told our server right now, but after the discussion of our disappointment that goes back to our motel, I felt that I must express our feelings about our experience."

"More like Nope St Pizza. New to the neighborhood and have been trying local places. My wife and I love Mediterranean and pizza so we were eager to try Hope St Pizza. We were profoundly dissatisfied with our experience. The ambiance was probably the only thing we liked. Felt like a neighborhood family owned diner and we liked that a lot. Decor was kind of dated, seats had tears in them covered by duct tape, and the tables and floors were quite dirty. We can get over that though. The food was average. Nothing stood out to us. Not the most extensive offering of Greek or Mediterranean but I guess they do mostly pizza. The service was horrendous. We weren't even greeted by any of the staff. How hard is it to say hello when a guest walks in your store? We sat ourselves (found the cleanest table we could). Waitress didn't introduce herself or say welcome. Just dropped off menus and asked what we wanted to drink. Food took a long time to come out IMO. 45 mins in a half-full restaurant seemed long. Waitress barely checked up on us while we ate. We finished and she just dropped off the check on our table. Didn't say anything. We sat there for 45 minutes and she never came back to check on us. We had to go to the front counter just for them to tell us we had to pay at our table. We went back to our table and the waitress gave my wife attitude about the check. We paid it, left a decent tip and left fuming. Won't be going back anytime soon. Summary: Great location. Dirty. Decent food. Bad service. There are much better options on Hope St."

"I go back and forth, but land on a solid 4 stars for our experience at Giuseppe Sons. We were there in April 2023, and it appeared much of the upstairs and some downstairs was under construction. In the main room, we were greeted by many friendly staff. The large room is loud and dimly lit so be prepared. It was a very confusing mix of people some young high school age kids, some older groups of women, many family dinners, a lot of dates. All probably because this is one of the reasonable Italian restaurants in the city which brings a wide crowd. When we were first sat, we weren’t acknowledged for quite some time, but that aside the overall experience was pleasant and hence the 4.Now the food! Well executed Italian food. They delivered. Something very important They do NOT accept changes to their dishes (I asked to add more protein to a pasta that was on another dish and they would not accommodate), so just be aware of that.If you are hungry and/or have a big party, highly recommend the Chefs tasting menu for $55. Five courses, they portion it out for the table (everyone is required to participate and agree on the five dishes), and it is a substantial amount of food. Worth your money if again you’re really hungry. A la carte is also great. Highly recommend the Sunday gravy as well as the rigatoni alla vodka. The octopus appetizer was more beans and fennel than octopus but the flavor was great for what we had.Solid meal. Well executed. Will be back with the expectations on experience in mind."

"This is an excellent Italian restaurant. The food and service are consistently very good. I was there last evening at 6pm with two friends. The noise level was totally unacceptable. We could not have a conversation; it was so loud. The noise was generated primarily from two large tables with several young children at each. The parents did not admonish their children to speak in moderate tones. Young children should not be allowed to frequent restaurants like Avanti, which considers itself the purveyor of fine cuisine. I doubt that I will go back. One of the primary reasons I go to restaurants with friends is to have pleasant conversation. That was impossible last evening. I was upset by this experience because my friends were in Miami Beach visiting from DC, and we had a limited time together."

"Lived most recently in Brooklyn NY and before that in Skokie IL, I am very familiar with good Jewish deli bagels. So, comparing Katz’s sandwiches with these may be unfair, but here it is.The brisket and the pastrami was very dry and NOT flavorful as compared to a NY staple. The Russian dressing was definitely not to the Katz’s standard nor was the coleslaw.I felt that the actual experience fell short of the hype. The challah bread we also purchased on our way out is good. You need to be clear that you only accept cash up front. You can get away with that in Brooklyn but in Atlanta that is a stretch!!!The bagel was good although the one I ordered was not available."

"Our server was terrible and had an attitude. If you don't like your job then go find a different one. When you get an attitude when a child asks you for a Shirley temple, then that is ridiculous. It wasn't even busy in there. Got appetizers, and it basically came out with our food. I know cooks could have been busy, but they don't need to cook chips and salsa. When she finally brought our food, it was luke warm. To the cooks, your food was good so you did a great job but as for the server with the attitude you did not do your job well and we should of not been there for more then 2 hours. Ridiculous"
