"We were traveling through Evansville on my birthday and stopped based on the high rating and pictures. Unfortunately, those are a 'bait and switch ' as the restaurant moved to a new location inside the Shriner building. We were the only ones in the restaurant when we walked in, though the dining room had dirty tables so we knew others had been in. The dining area is loud as they have stand alone air conditioning units next to tables. It was not a good ambiance, with mismatched chairs and tables set next to nice ones from the old restaurant location. The kitchen was out of just about everything Pita, pasta sauce, seafood dip, various wines and alcohol. The service was extremely slow though I felt bad for the server because how do you tell customers that you 're out of everything? Only one person was working, and it sounded like she was also working the banquet upstairs so she really didn 't check on us. I ordered the chicken pasta dish (chicken lemonatti), and it was awful though it 's supposed to be a 'house favorite '. My fiance ordered the Gyro tortellini, but they were out of the sauce so he got marinara instead. Apparently they were also out of the gyro meat as it didn 't have any meat in it at all, but the server never came back for us to ask about this. It was a relief to leave. I 'm not sure if the restaurant is under new management or fell under hard times because of COVID but they do not live up to their reputation and I would NOT recommend anyone eat here."
