"I doubt I'll try this place again I was on a business trip this weekend and we were told about this great restaurant. Well, I understand covid and all that but this was not a thing involved in this dinner. We were taken in within 15 minutes from our arrival and placed in a large area as we were 11 of us. The ambiance and decor looks good but we were struggling with flies in our table, we were given pita bread (soft and hard and a dressing of cinnamon butter that I believe it's better with cinnamon rolls not pita bread and especially not when you want to eat a savory main dish; I was waiting more of lebne or tzaziki dressing. Anyway, it took them about 2 hrs to give us our food. A friend and I ordered a Big Fat Greek Dinner which depending on the entrees is the amount you pay. I had dolmades (2 which I've never had with marinara on top, it also came with two individual salads, the entrees were lamb chops and pasta (not the big portion the waitress said it would be but tasty the seasoned rice was very bad it was like plastic rice with powder on top and the dessert was baklava (like 8 layers of filo dough with the nuts inside and CINNAMON!!! Not good and my friend had also zucchini which was average. For all this plus two beers the check was 50 dlls! I believe it's a lot especially for the portions and taste. It's surprising that this place was on the Evansville magazine but I guess there were good old days not now. Hope someone does something"

"We were traveling through Evansville on my birthday and stopped based on the high rating and pictures. Unfortunately, those are a 'bait and switch ' as the restaurant moved to a new location inside the Shriner building. We were the only ones in the restaurant when we walked in, though the dining room had dirty tables so we knew others had been in. The dining area is loud as they have stand alone air conditioning units next to tables. It was not a good ambiance, with mismatched chairs and tables set next to nice ones from the old restaurant location. The kitchen was out of just about everything Pita, pasta sauce, seafood dip, various wines and alcohol. The service was extremely slow though I felt bad for the server because how do you tell customers that you 're out of everything? Only one person was working, and it sounded like she was also working the banquet upstairs so she really didn 't check on us. I ordered the chicken pasta dish (chicken lemonatti), and it was awful though it 's supposed to be a 'house favorite '. My fiance ordered the Gyro tortellini, but they were out of the sauce so he got marinara instead. Apparently they were also out of the gyro meat as it didn 't have any meat in it at all, but the server never came back for us to ask about this. It was a relief to leave. I 'm not sure if the restaurant is under new management or fell under hard times because of COVID but they do not live up to their reputation and I would NOT recommend anyone eat here."
