"The delivery was on time, but I would not recommend this restaurant as a good BBQ spot. My drink was missing from my order, which was supposed to come with the combo. The brisket seemed to be marinated in ground beef stew rather than BBQ sauce, and the baked beans tasted like they came from a can and were just reheated. Additionally, the banana pudding did not have any bananas in it. I paid around $18 for the meal, but it was only worth about $7-10. I understand that not every restaurant can be perfect, but I suggest improving the recipes or lowering the prices. When I informed the owner about my missing drink and the disappointing food, they did not seem to take it seriously. Overall, the experience felt like eating mediocre food from a school cafeteria."

"I had a nice experience at the restaurant, but there were a few areas that could be improved. The display case for the scrumptious candy was not well-maintained, and the lack of labels made it less inviting to order from. While your menu is extensive and very enticing, the food itself didn’t quite live up to expectations. The prepackaged avocado in my omelet was disappointing, especially for a local establishment that I expected to have fresh ingredients. I think it detracted from my enjoyment of the dish. I appreciate that the restaurant might be trying to save costs, but I would have preferred to see fresh avocado as a part of my meal rather than a prepackaged version. Perhaps it could be offered as a special when ripe avocados are available, rather than being a standard item on the menu. Despite these issues, I’m willing to give it another shot. The desserts seemed popular, and the overall vibe of the place was enjoyable enough to warrant a return visit."

"Katie's is a charming, inviting, and cozy restaurant. We've visited for both breakfast and lunch, and they truly excel at breakfast, while lunch can be quite busy. We sampled the French Toast, Belgian Waffle, and a BLT. The bacon was delicious, though a bit undercooked and very thin. The sausage patties were mild in flavor. While the Home Fries and Hash Browns were cooked well, they lacked seasoning. We absolutely loved the French Toast and Waffle, but the highlight was definitely the Coffee and Chocolate Cake. If you order the French Toast, make sure to ask your server for the butter on the side, as it was overly drenched in melted butter and egg batter today."

"I hesitate to write a negative review because this restaurant usually does a great job 90% of the time. However, it seems there is someone in the kitchen who is inadvertently harming their reputation and disappointing customers. I was served toast that was so burnt it was black and inedible, so I ended up throwing it away. I can't fathom why that would be sent to my table. The steak was dry and unappetizing, and my son's banana pancakes were tasteless. Overall, the meal was a disappointment. Typically, the food here is excellent, but this time it fell short."

"This is undoubtedly the best food in Punxsutawney. The owner, who is also the chef and baker, has an impressive background in gourmet cuisine and pastries but offers it all in a cozy and unpretentious dining space. Everything with her pizza crust is outstanding, and both her sweet Charley’s sauce and traditional tomato sauce can rival the best anywhere. To top it off, her pastries are a true treat, making for a flavor experience that’s hard to beat. Catering services are also available. Just be sure to check the hours, as the restaurant is only open Friday through Sunday and Thursday evenings during the summer."

"This place rocks! I was on the way to a snowboard on 49 Deg N. and was in desperate need of a breakfast. I drove from many shops that were not open and I almost gave up and made a beeline for 395. Just before I got the idea of a hot breakfast, that was 't gas station food, I found 'the Classic Cafe. I had the best I had for a long time. I could go on and on the freshness of the ingredients, the super friendly service, but I would run over my number of words for this review. I will just summarize and say that if you want a fantastic breakfast food and yours near Deer Park, drive to the Classic, it is worth it."

"Great little place in a great little town! The small town atmosphere is fantastic and the staff make you feel right at home. The service by Sawyer and Sue stood out in particular! Every time I go in for breakfast Sawyer is on top of it. He’s punctual, polite, and prompt! Sue has great energy, is kind, and fun to talk to, (who needs coffee when you got Sue? Give em’ both raises! An amazing experience thy deserves to be talked about and shared."
