"I recently met friends at Around The Clock for lunch. Enjoyed my food. Friends enjoyed their food. Waitress was great. Problem was: I use a wheelchair needed to use the handicapped accessible rest room. First time I've ever used the rest room there. Their handicapped accessible rest room is very small unsafe for a handicapped person. First of all, the stall is too narrow for an accessible stall plus the door pushes inward. The door wouldn't close with me in my wheelchair till a friend pushed squeezed me uncomfortably close to toilet, with my legs chair pressed against toilet in order to finally close the door. To be ADA compliant the stall door should swing outward. Minimum width of stall should be 60 inches with a minimum depth of 56 inches so that a wheelchair can freely rotate inside stall. I was very surprised that a popular, long established restaurant like Around The Clock does not provide a good, ADA compliant handicapped accessible restroom for their customers. Restaurants are legally required to provide an ADA compliant restroom plus it's an important customer service for the customers that eat there."
