"Classic, delicious, and over the top charming! My wife and I have been going to Fondue Stube for almost 20 years beginning when we were teenagers. Every time we go, we fall in love with Stube all over again. Everything from the top notch service to the red light atmosphere is exactly the same with every visit, and we hope it never changes.We generally order one of the prefixed menu options. You start with salad and garlic bread. This is then followed by a cheese fondue and then a main course. We've had every kind of cheese over the years, and the swiss is our favorite. The cheddar is a close second. Next is the soybean oil main course, with choices of protein with vegetables. We usually go for the beef, which pairs perfectly with the four available sauces. I always opt for extra broccoli which crisps up beautifully in the oil. Finally for dessert you get a chocolate fondue with several fruits and angel food cake. We added rice crispy treats for the first time this visit, and cannot recommend it highly enough! Throughout the meal, the attentive servers will follow each course at your pace with no rush.The owner, Carole, is so sweet and remembers my wife and I after all these years. She runs a tight ship and guided her staff to treat every customer the same amazing white glove service.
