"Overall a very nice experience; seated promptly with a reservation. Our server was thorough, helpful, and attentive. What struck me was how good everything smelled upon walking in. It made choosing an entree difficult but opted for the New York Strip while my wife chose the Buffalo Shrimp. The steak was cooked perfectly and the shrimp were plump and flavorful. Our sides were excellent. The dining room, though mostly full, wasn’t too loud though I could see it being a bit noisy if you were looking for a quiet place to dine. I would dine here again and would be happy to explore the menu"

"We visited the Los Alamitos location this trip for late lunch, early dinner. My husband got an All American Beach Melt. It was a full pound cheeseburger on grilled Parmesan Sour Dough. He was delightfully overwhelmed! I decided to try the prime rib dinner because the prime rib dip is out of this world! I was extremely disappointed! The meat was cold and flavorless. The aujus again had no flavor. The creamy horseradish could have been sour cream, and it has absolutely no flavor at all, no zing.Our waitress was sweet but disappointing. All of our food came to the table at the same time. Our appetizer actually arrived after our entree plates. Our waitress did a vanishing act. She did not once return to the table. Our water and tea cups sat empty throughout our meal. Other servers took care of the tables to our right, and to our left, we remained completely ignored. After finishing our meals, we sat for about 15 20 minutes with my husband, trying to get anyone to pay attention to even our empty glasses. Finally, it appeared to be someone in management who asked if we were waiting for boxes. My husband told her we 'd like a check AND boxes so we can leave.She brought our check and 3 boxes, no questions or comments.My husband paid in cash, and she said, I 'll see you next time. He commented. There won 't be a next time. We enjoy the Foothill Ranch location, a much friendlier environment. Today 's lesson learned is that it was not a good idea to order steak at a sandwich shop."

"Our server, Sara, was incredibly helpful and courteous. When I inquired about the signature dishes at Lyla's, she highlighted their breakfast options, sandwiches, and Mediterranean cuisine. I decided to try the Appetizer Combo, which included hummus, deliciously smoky baba ghanoush, impressive tabbouleh, crunchy falafel, and pita bread (just a note, it didn’t come with a pickle, even though one appears in my photo). I also ordered the Combination Platter, which featured beef kafta, shish kebab, shish tawook, lamb, rice, and grilled vegetables. The food was delicious, but I recommend bringing a friend to share the meal with because it was quite a lot for one person."

"So I come here often for breakfast and the food is good. The server is always the best. Recently in order 3 platters and 1 of them wasn’t what I ordered. I was so far gone to turn around to bring it back which was very disappointing. I ordered a cheesesteak omelette but got sausage patties and the egg was burnt. When you have you mouth on something and get something else it sucks. So I would said slow down and pay attention to details. mistake will happen but there should always be a solution for a paying customer and none was given."

"The service and food were excellent at this restaurant. My husband enjoyed the chicken steak, which was served with Braunschweig instead of bacon, a bit unusual but very tasty according to him. The vegetables were cooked just right and the fries were thick and delicious. I had the chicken dish, which was also delicious and portions were generous. It came with a fresh and tasty house salad. Even my son loved his steak, comparing it to his favorite steakhouse. We would definitely dine here again."

"We ate breakfast here while we were visiting San Francisco. We got here early so we were able to walk right in and get a table for 4. June was our server and she was super. She did a great job of explaining some of the highlights on the menu. It didn'ttake long for them to make our food and get it to our table. I got the regular breakfast with eggs, mixed potatoes, and thecurry chicken sausage. My wife got the pancakes with bananas and walnuts with the mango chicken sausage. The breakfast wasgood all the way around. The Mango Chicken sausage was better than the curry chicken sausage to me. The pancakes and potatoeswere good too! There are a couple of big screen tv's in the dining area and we were able to watch a tennis match duringbreakfast. There was 1 young lady who came to pick up our plates after we finished eating and she was rude and unfriendly androlled her eyes at us but other than that, this place was good. I recommend that you try this place if you are ever in SanFrancisco."

"Cheezy Vegan's staff is so nice. You immediately feel welcomed when you walk-in. I ordered the Chick'n N Waffles. The chick'n was cooked and seasoned to perfection. My partner had the crab cake, being from MD it's hard to have MD style outside of the land of pleasant living, but this was a nice substitute. The flavors melded nicely upon a very fluffy roll. As an app, we split the cheezy fries with coconut bacon! Coconut bacon might be my new favorite thing!"

"We brought our friends to dinner and had a fantastic meal. The portions were huge, especially the Greek salad which was excellent. We were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset while dining. The dinners were cooked perfectly and there was plenty of food. The staff, particularly Michael, were great as always. We even got to meet the owner's sister, Dwight. We are big fans of this place. "It has been around 20 years since my last visit to this place. My Mom Chickie used to order from Buckhorn frequently. I recently took my Sister and Daughter out for lunch here. The restaurant was not very crowded, which made for a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Being at Buckhorn brought back a lot of nostalgic memories. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. I would definitely return to dine here again. The average price per person was between $10-20."

"We had never been to this restaurant before and normally don't opt for places that focus on freshness, but we decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised. Our server was exceptional, which can be hard to come by, and the food was served promptly. Overall, we had no major complaints, but we felt that the omelet could use some improvements – we suggest adding cheese inside the omelet instead of just on top. The hash browns were a bit undercooked compared to what we prefer, but aside from those minor issues, we thought the chef did a great job, even taking the time to generously butter the toast. We would recommend this unique restaurant. In regards to the franchise, thank you for the quick response. Regarding the omelet, we suggest spreading the cheese throughout the omelet filling and then lightly sprinkling a small amount on top for presentation, without overloading it with cheese. With 13 years of experience in the breakfast business, I can say that most people prefer their omelets prepared this way. As for the hash browns, it's not a deal-breaker, but if the chefs adjust the burner settings slightly higher on both sides, they could achieve a better browning effect. Most people appreciate beautifully browned potatoes. I am giving a 4-star rating for your professionalism – thank you!"

"At the entrance host does not know when someone comes because they are not at the reception. They will go up and try to sit, whoever they are eye contact with more then who comes first. Eating is okay. The waffle was amazing, but sides were spoiled no taste, what ever. Potatoes are not flavoured, only dyed for appearance. Everything looks like a free hotel breakfast. only my opinion) The shrimps were thin, had a little heat nothing bad if you okay with some spices,) a bit about price for the part of my opinion.) The flowing homemade cookies was very nice and help the spices of the meal. Server was also fine, it seemed a little distracted with a conversation with another worker at a point that delays our refills once."
