"Our new favorite restaurant! Huge thanks to Gerry for the fantastic service. We tried this place for the first time on Saturday and we're so happy we did! It was hands down the best Mexican restaurant we've ever been to. All their dishes are authentic, with recipes passed down through generations. The food was incredibly delicious, and we will definitely be back. The homemade beans and rice really stand out in flavor. We highly recommend this spot! One of my favorite dishes is the quesabirria with consome. Let's support this wonderful family-owned business!"

"Flautas...Flautas...He just kept mumbling Flautas..he must have said it 40 times between Napa and Sacramento. Then..all the sudden he yells out ..Quick! Take this exit! Well, I took the exit off the highway, then the little Weasel says make a right at the light and it's on the next block. What is, I ask and he says the La Fiesta Alteña Taqueria! They make the best taquitos in the universe! Well, I don't know about the universe...but they were pretty damn Amazing! 5 stars all day"

"We went to celebrate my daughter's 15th bday with a total of 24 of us this past Tuesday evening and we had great service, good food and enjoyed to the fullest. We avoided the busy weekend, not too many customers during the week. I called the restaurant the day before letting them know there will be 24 of us in case they needed to staff up. We had some appetizers and 4 parrilladas. I was able to bring my daughter's cake. The evening was absolutely perfect. Family and friends showed up at 7:15pm and we finally left at 10:30pm their closing time. We were so relaxed. I want to thank Coculas Restaurant, Jose Alfredo and everyone on the team for making this a great evening for familia and friends. Definitely we will be back soon."

"We were drawn to this restaurant in the Gaslamp Quarter by some positive reviews, but they turned out to be completely unfounded. The ambiance felt like a mix between a sports bar and a rustic cantina, and the food was well below average. How can fresh nachos taste stale? The service was also very poor. While we thankfully didn't experience any food poisoning, our overall rating is a definite 'Nope'."

"After moving to Miami, I spent a year searching for a great, delicious, and AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant, and I finally discovered my favorite place—Taqueria Los Nopales. The food here is consistently fantastic; every dish I’ve tried has been spot on and absolutely delicious! The burritos, sopes, gorditas, huaraches, machetes, flautas, quesadillas, horchatas, and aguas frescas are all AMAZING, and I can’t wait to sample more items from the menu! The value for the price is excellent as well. Their food is so good that you’ll find yourself trying to claim the last bite. I can’t recommend Los Nopales enough; I just wish I had found this gem sooner. Plus, the staff is always friendly and welcoming, which really makes it feel like home!"

"The food here is always on point and is absolutely delicious no matter what you choose on the huge menu. Have a great selection of lunch specials that are big portions and are sure to fill you up. They have a large selection of meat choices that aremarinated beautifully and always cook to you perfection. I've never had to take back any dishes here or have one complaint. Thestaff are amazing and move the line along quickly when you're ordering. The staff that works in the dining room clearing tablesand making sure you're enjoying your food are outstanding. They all are so friendly and really hard workers. This is by far myfavorite restaurant to go to especially when I want to go get a quick lunch. Eating outside in the sun on their patio is anextra bonus. It's always nice and quiet and a very nice atmosphere."
