"This was an unexpected discovery in a city that has seen better days. Especially the name and decor of the diner is sweet and the food is fresh and tasty. We ordered shrimps for my husband and I ordered a salad and baked potato. There were enough shrimps to share and my salad was big. The baked potato was also big. Everything was prepared exactly right and very tasty. The restaurant and the toilets were clean. The server was friendly and checked several times to make sure we had everything we needed. Prices are reasonable and the portions are large. When I cross Great Falls SC again, I enjoy another meal at the Flopeye Diner."

"Pete's is the undisputed king of the breakfast scene in downtown Knoxville. Pretenders will go to market square but those in the know choose Pete's. The food is amazing; the staff are always kind and quick with a joke; and the atomsphere is pitch perfect. It's like being in an Edward Hopper painting with good coffee and fantastic eggs."
