"The service was the only good thing I have to say about this place.. I can't remember her name but she was new and did the best she could. My food never arrived the food all came out at different times. Literally some were finished when other food arrived. There was only 1 server and 1 person working th4 bar and she primarily sent her time a one table that she apparently knew the people. She iterally laughing, talking and holding a child. She could have helped the young lady that has all of the other table. I will not be back."

"We just picked up a $70+ order to go and didn 't even leave the parking lot before we checked our food to make sure it was complete. Opened up the seafood saute meal and this is what $20+ buys you I guess. 4 pieces of shrimp thrown into a container with lemons. You can see from my review history I NEVER give negative reviews. We attempted to bring the order back for a refund and were declined because the food left the building . Bad food, bad service. Also, online has a price of $13.99 listed for the seafood saute, ended up being charged $19.99 and I didn 't say anything because I figured they were pandemic prices. I wouldn 't pay $8.99 for the meal pictured."

"My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Hobo’s Cafe. The portions are very large. We shared a hogfish dinner and conch soup. The hogfish came with a lime butter sauce and encrusted in Parmesan cheese. It was topped with chopped tomatoes and scallions. I can’t get hogfish where we live. The service was tops. The food came out in a timely manner. My husband was also given a piece of scrumptious key lime pie for his birthday. I took this picture after we started eating."

"This restaurant was truly fantastic! Our waitress was incredibly friendly, and the bathrooms were spotless. I ordered the fried crab, accompanied by a salad and she-crab soup. My mom had the Knobhill chicken, and she really enjoyed it. I also appreciated that the bathroom had mouthwash available, which was a nice touch. Overall, I rate this place five stars. While the parking was manageable, it can get a bit tight when it’s busy—this was the only drawback my mom and I found. Additionally, the prices are on the higher side relative to what you get, which might make it a bit costly."

"Excellent location. The views are everything. Drinks on the patio were nice. The fried crab claws were pretty good, expected a little more meat. Wasn't too excited about the Salmon Cesar salad, very limp lettuce over saturated with dressing and a drypiece of fish. The croissants were great though. After having visited a few other seafood restaurants during our stay inCharleston, less than impressed with the over-rated over-priced seafood platter. Service started out great, but as the dinnercrowd came rolling in, it became clear more than 1 server was needed to properly handle the volume outside. No refills and hadto go hunt down our check after sitting with empty dishes for 20min. California music playing would be a more fitting selectionrather than country tunes, but overall, not too bad a way to say farewell to Summer."

"I enjoy their happy hour and sunset menu, but get a table if you want to order from the early vogel menu because they ignore it at the bar. it's like the bartenders don't want the early diners. trust me, I'm a very good tipper and even ordered bar drinks after happy hour end and the bartenders are all beautiful then but ignore during 4 to 6."

"I can't write enough positive things about this place. We came out of town and needed a place for Christmas dinner. I'm so glad that was open. The service was PHENOMENAL. We were served immediately, constantly refilled drinks checked, food came out quickly. Our waitress was so nice and personal. It seemed like everyone was working together. The food was also amazing. The prices for what you get are great. The seafood nachos are something I will probably talk about for a while. The San Francisco and Blackened Chicken Pasta were both huge and delicious. Honestly, if they were open at Christmas, we would have gone back. It was so good. 10/10 would recommend."

"deorganized long line only to get host to check after reservation. in a section where the server had been sent to the house without replacement. another server helped us after 20 minutes at the table. I have to order lunch 60 minutes after sitting. I've never ordered two drinks. server tried to cover two sections in the round. salate came less than cold and meal less than hot. it was Valentine's Day and place was sick ready to handle it."

"I love BBQ so really what can I say... I find this to be a pretty good stand in as far as BBQ joints go. I highly recommend the potato salad here and the baked beans...I hardly had room for my half rack of ribs which were tender and that is important. Nothing worse than BBQ pork jerky lol. Southern sweet tea splashed it all down and believe me I was more than full. Had to give my hubby one of the two mini corn muffins served with it. I absolutely did not have room for it and even took part of the ribs home!"

"Not sure what the fuss is all about. We tried going a few weeks ago and were turned away at the door at opening (3rd party in the door) because they were booked up and told it would be a wait over 1.5 hous. Their website states they only reserve half therestaurant so we didn't feel reservations would be necessary if we got there at opening. Made reservations the other night togive them another try. Ordered drinks and appetizers and those came out rather quickly. However from appetizers to salads wewaited over an hour. After about an hour of waiting our waiter told us it was because of a big party and the kitchen would notlet them bring our salads until the big party was served. The salads were bland, Caesar dressing was lacking any flavor. Whenwe got our food it was mediocre at best. My wife's filet was dry. My ribeye tasted ok, but I have had far better steaks for alot less money. Definitely not a $50 quality steak. Overall not impressed for the cost and hype built up around this place. Ourmeal took over 2.5 hours and we didn't even order dessert. First and last time dining here."

"The food was mediocre at best for the price. But what struck me most was that there were a total of 12 tables that were not cleaned when I walked in. I'm not sure if they had just finished a rush but they didn't appear to be busy at all. It made me wonder if they were that unconcerned about the front-of-house, how unclean was the back of house? "Chef Nate Francis is a culinary genius. He takes what could be a typical menu and elevates it to a whole new level. The broccoli was steamed flawlessly, and the prime rib was smoked to perfection.
