"As an old-school Italian American from Brooklyn, I know my delis (as my waistline suggests!). This place is the real deal. Their prepared foods are incredible, and I've been craving their rice balls ever since my last visit. The service is attentive and friendly, and honestly, the prices are very reasonable. Salumerias aren’t typically cheap, but when you taste their cheese and parsley or broccoli rabe sausage, you’ll feel it’s worth every penny. Be sure to go early, as they get really busy—last time, the cheese and parsley sausage was sold out. It's that good!"

"We ordered the Deep Fried Zucchini (8), and they were absolutely delicious—no off flavors that you sometimes encounter with cooked zucchini. They were super fresh and light. We also tried the Hush Puppies (6), which were just okay and a bit on the salty side. For our main course, we both went with the 2 Piece Fish and Chips. The batter was light and not greasy at all, and the fish tasted incredibly fresh—I'm quite picky about my fish. Our only complaints were that the fries were completely unseasoned, and we weren't fans of the extra tartar sauce, which had a sweet onion flavor that didn't work for us. I make a fantastic tartar sauce, so we ended up using that along with some malt vinegar we had on hand."

"I sat at the bar and found the steak to be acceptable. It wasn't cooked medium rare as I had ordered, but it wasn't dry either, which was a plus. However, the texture of the steak didn’t meet my expectations. The wine selection was decent, but the food took unusually long to arrive compared to other places I've visited. My main issue with this restaurant was the wait time for my meal; they didn't seem busy at all, and the bartender appeared more interested in chatting with friends at the far end of the bar. While the service was polite and professional, my wine glass was quite smudged, which detracted from the overall wine-drinking experience."

"Pepperoni and diced tomatoes is soooo good! Today was our 2nd trip there and it was amazing both times. New owner, changes are coming, but the same cook back there for years. Look, everybody says they have a great pizza flavor, but few places can back it up. That pepperoni and diced tomatoes is where it's at. Thank you guys! 6 of us ate for $45 tip. "This is a classic burger joint, but with plenty of eye catchers to bring you in. The shrimp is nice and crispy, burgers are stacked and well seasoned, the mozzarella sticks are nice to have as a side too! "I'll start with a positive note - the marino sauce for the cheese sticks is really tasty. However, that's about where the praise ends for this restaurant. I can't understand why people rave about their Italian sandwich. It was possibly the worst thing I've ever tried. The bread was as hard as a rock, and the sandwich smelled like wet cat food. The giardiniera was more soggy than spicy. The cheese sauce was absolutely awful, especially considering it was over $5 for a chili cheese dog and came with no fries. The lady behind the counter was too preoccupied chatting with a family member to acknowledge anyone else. There was no hello, no goodbye, no thank you."
