"We stopped ordering form here a few years ago as the food had become less than good. Tonight we gave the place another chance and ordered through door dash. Describing what we received tonight as food should be considered criminal. This was absolutely the worst meal I have ever been served from a restaurant. We ordered two chef special dishes; orange beef and orange chicken. Both were comprised of rancid grisly cuts of meat and soaked in a thick soup of bright red sauce with nothing else. The pot stickers were thick, clumpy, burnt and had a strong odor of ash. The fried rice was steamed rice with a little soy sauce on it and had certainly never seen a frying pan of any kind. I am completely disgusted by the food we were given and will never order from here again."

"The restaurant was quiet and slow there was hardly anybody in there which is great for us as we have an autistic son that doesn't like a lot of noise and chaos the service was fast and quick we had excellent service excellent food. The price for what we got was great we had enough food we could have fed five people we had leftovers to take home and the price was great. Will definitely go again and take friends."

"I am going to be honest. This place looks like a dive bar at 9 PM, then turns into the best hangout in West Seattle by 12:30. The karaoke hosts (usually know what they're doing; staff is friendly; Jello Shots are cheap; Chinese food...well...it exists, but nobody comes there for Chinese. Basically, what makes this place amazing is it is the ONLY karaoke spot in West Seattle with a dance floor. And not only a dance floor, a strobing disco ball! The room is built for social dynamics, tables facing inwards, so it's easy to meet people. There is a pool table/room. Occasional fights, but never seen anything worse than the usual, downtown! Used to be a bouncer, but not lately, though everyone is friendly, and it's a mix between regulars and people who know niche hangout spots that secretly rule! Only downside is don't come on weekdays, aside from Friday. It's barren, unless you want to practice! I've had plenty of girls (and guys! buy me drinks, and you should get about 3x songs per night if you arrive at 9 PM. Occasionally, there are open mics. Also, Wendy is secretly good at remembering faces, so if you're a regular, you might score a free beer! Also, the new singer from Queensryche (not Geoff practiced there, so I bought a tank top like his! If you see me in the crowd, say hi! I'm the guy doing Bowie, Floyd, and Billy Idol. Plus a few suicides that suck less than ten drunken 21-year-olds howling N'Sync suicide numbers into the mic, then expecting men to dance to get them attention! Also, if one more bad singer attempts Radiohead's Creep, I will NEVER listen to said 90s band again! In fact, the sports bar next door will be my evacuating spot for the five minutes it takes you to ruin fine art. There are some things even alcohol can't fix. "

"The atmosphere of the restaurant was quite enjoyable, and the staff were very amicable. I found the wonton soup to be delightful, and the Seafood Delight was also very tasty. However, I wish they had used fresh mushrooms instead of canned ones, and I suspect the crab might have been imitation rather than real. While the dish was tasty overall, using fresh mushrooms and real crab would have significantly improved the experience. Additionally, the egg roll was a bit lackluster, which kept me from giving a perfect 5-star rating."

"We were led to believe our experience at Li Orient would be outstanding. It was not. Open table had us wait two weeks for a Saturday evening reservation. The restaurant was empty when we arrived and when we left. The waiter gave us a nod as we were seated, yet we waited over 10 minutes before being brought water. Soup dumplings were so bland one could barely distinguish one from the next. An $18 order of pan fried rice had 4 shrimp and zero flavor, as it had not actually been fried. Chared Garlic Brussels Sprouts were undercooked, and neither the garlic nor the sprouts had anything resembling a char. Garlic Noodles could easily have come from a diner. Throbbing electronic house music was piped in for most of our meal, switching over to vocal jazz as we paid the bill and a whopping bill it was. After receiving parking validation, $10 of $15 were still ours to pay. Huge disappointment in every way. Our old neighborhood favorite, Twin Dragon on Pico, serves delicious fried rice with tons of meat and veggies for less than half the price. Their food is typical Chinese Ametican, not fancy, nothing exciting, but you can taste the flavors, you 're served generous portions and you pay a very reasonable price. I 'm sure there are amazing, expensive Chinese restaurants, but stand warned: Li Orient is not among them. Go elsewhere (or go to Twin Dragon."

"Almost everything on their menu can be made vegan. The staff was very knowledgeable and we never felt “put out” by anything. They had a Thai iced tea that was made with coconut milk instead of half and half, and our entrees were delicious! I had the pineapple curry with tofu, and my fiancé had the tofu pad Thai. They never use fish sauce or oyster sauce in their pad Thai sauce, so he just ordered it without egg. We were blown away by the quality of our food. The only (tiny) downside was how small the vegan egg rolls were- not worth the price of $1.50 each, as they were as small as spring rolls. Many meat choices for the carnivores, as well. We will be making the 20 minute drive frequently, as we have found our new favorite restaurant! "Had made a reservation for Valentine’s Day 2/14 for 8:30pm It took a minute for someone to acknowledge us enter the door and waiting at the front desk station. As we were being led to our table by the one waitress/hostess, an elderly woman came barrelling up to us saying that the couple who had entered after us needed to be seated. That they had a reservation. Not once did she check to see that we too had a reservation. After an aggressive exchange of words from this woman, our waitress apologised for her and sat us at our table. Before our waitress left she did inform us that there was a back up in the kitchen and that all orders were taking about 45 min to come to the table. We were ok with that and figured we’d order a few drinks and a appetiser to kill time. Wrong. It was 36 minutes before anyone made eye contact with us. We didn’t get water, or anyone to even take an order. Was very disappointed in the lack of service as well with the way we were treated. The food smelled amazing it’s just a shame we never got to try"
