"Pleasantly surprised by the food and quick service. Wanted American Chinese and decided to give this place a try despite the reviews— so glad I did! Ordered online and it was ready when it said it would be. Went inside and saw how food was cooked fresh and to order. It was clean and very deliciously smelling. Ordered an appetizer sample and it smelled and tasted fresh and with quality. Got an order of general gau’s for my husband he and liked his meal. The flavors of the lo mein had that wok flavor and I was impressed. The food was fried well but not only. Will definitely come here again."

"I really wish I could bring my Taiwanese "mom" here! Helena was a fantastic hostess, and it turned out that she and I were the only ones there. She prepared a delicious black tea with lychee flavor. I have to admit that I expected a different kind of bubble tea than what I got, but it was delightful nonetheless. For anyone familiar with Assi in North Wales, PA, that’s what I’m accustomed to! I’m relatively new to this beverage. I genuinely can’t wait to visit Lavender Cafe again to explore more of their extensive and diverse menu. I rarely find places that offer rice cake, so I’m definitely hooked! They also have hot pot and vegetarian-friendly dishes, which gives you no reason not to come and enjoy the food. It’s absolutely worth it! And please, be considerate—don’t expect the limited staff to manage dine-in orders while the phone is ringing during the busy weekend dinner rush, and make sure to leave a generous tip! Seriously, let’s not make it harder for amazing immigrant-run businesses. Support more great places like this one!"

"This was our second time ordering delivery from Jasmine Garden. The first time was impressive set up an account, easy interface, everything arrived according to plan. The food was excellent, which in all honesty surprised us. The dishes included Thai food as well. Tonight, New Year's Eve, we ordered again. "It was my first time visiting since it was Hotoy and it was an awesome Reno. Very inviting atmosphere, and clean as well. The sushi was fabulous, though the menu was so elaborate it took us half an hour to scroll through it (yes, there opted out of physical menus and post a QR code to their site). They have different categories there, so we had to ask of they had sushi, then shown that there was a drop down for Chinese, Japanese, etc. Anyways that is my only critique."

"This is one of the very best Chinese restaurants in town (and best I’ve been to). Such a huge selection of dishes from Japanese, Chinese to Thai and Vietnamese. All the dishes are extremely reasonably priced, and the portions are huge. The owners and servers treat you like family, but they are not too pushy or nosy at all. The interior design is perfect. Oh and did I forget about parking? Ample free parking on the side of the restaurant and on the street. I am pretty sure one can find parking easily even during the busiest hours. I really, really do not have any complaints whatsoever. I sincerely hope their business continues doing well. From now on, I’ll become a regular customer!"

"I removed my five-star review for dinner that I rated a few weeks ago. Unfortunately this restaurant is consistently not consistent. The food was phenomenal a few weeks ago and it was absolutely one star tonight. The pupu platter was cold. The appetizers tasted like they were sitting around from the afternoon and we were in there at 6:00 at night. The fried rice tasted old. Won't be going back anytime soon. I just don't understand consistency is so important. If you want to keep your guests in your restaurant and not just sitting at your bar you need to take notice of the food. Salty salty salty salty did not like one thing about my meal tonight"

"Always happy with our orders. Our kids have their faves—lo mein with the awesome fiery wok flavors, general Cho’s chicken, salt and pepper chicken and the fried rice. We parents now have our favorite low calorie but flavorful options—the chicken and vegetables, and spicy sautéed green beans. The white rice doesn’t come as moist and aromatic as we like but most of us try not to eat so much rice anymore anyway. All foods are always so so so fresh! We need to try other dishes more often but our faves are just so good. So glad they survived the pandemic. Highly recommend."

"This place has good tasting food meal portion was just fine (I ordered chicken lo mien) but my boyfriends meal size was very small (he got the mongolian beef which was lacking size and onions/veggies/any variation than just beef itself although it did have good flavor. I come here fairly often. It seems a little pricy to me. For cheese wontons and chicken fried rice I paid $16.00 without tip. Service is alright when sitting in the restaurant itself but to-go and pick ups are very fast and efficient. Tonight in my cheese wontons (from my pickup order) I found a fairly large size of thin plastic that was embedded in the cream cheese portion of the wonton. Luckily I eat my wontons in four bites (I actually pull off one corner at a time, weird I know) otherwise I would not have found it. My concern is that if a small child was eating this, that they could have choked. Please be careful! This is the first time something like this has happened here...hope this helps."

"Went here on a whim today when I needed a bite on my lunch break close by. I ordered a combo plate of BBQ pork with veggies. I was a little taken back by the price, but let me tell you it was entirely worth it. Enough food for both my lunch and dinner today and I ate every single bite. Everything was absolutely delicious. I could have gone without the egg roll, it wasn't anything special but that's just me knit picking here. I've had some hit and miss Chinese food in my life but this one is a winner. Even after nuking in the microwave 8 hours later the veggies were in perfect form and maintained its freshness. Impressed and I will be back soon. The gentleman that took my order was so friendly too !"

"I 'm not Asian so I 'm not going to claim that it 's authentic Sichuan . However I did live in the far east for several years so I can tell the difference between good Chinese food and PF Chang 's. What I can say is that I 've ordered Chinese food from all over Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and Grand Sichuan is consistently the best I 've found. I was introduced to the brick-and-mortar restaurant on 85th Street by a Chinese friend who was a seafood purveyor to restaurants all over the five boroughs. Their menu knocked me out so I was very pleased to find them Grubhub during the pandemic. Since then I 've remained a loyal customer.The food is flavorful, consistently fresh and different from standard issue Chinese delivery. Even their brown rice is unlike other Chinese restaurants."

"I personally don’t like or enjoy Chinese food, so this is my boyfriends opinion… I had the Pork Won Ton soup as a meal. My boyfriend had egg rolls, deep fried beef in garlic sauce, cashews chicken. Pork Won Ton soup was very bland, so I doctored it up with soy sauce and spicy Chinese oil… My boyfriend completely finished the other 3 dishes. He was constantly making those Mmmm sound, enjoying every bite."

"My brother and father had the shrimp with Broccoli and hardly came up for breath while eating so easily 5 stars ! The crab Rangoon simply marvelous ! Crunchy outside with cheese crab inside! My California roll was amazing I should've ordered the Philly roll as well !
