Juicy shrimp coated in a tangy orange glaze, served with aromatic herbs and a hint of spice for an exotic taste experience.

"When the food arrived, I felt a bit anxious. I usually judge a Chinese restaurant by their egg rolls—if I like those, I’m likely to enjoy the rest of the meal. I took a bite of the egg roll, and it sealed the deal! (It's not pictured, but trust me!) Everything was absolutely delicious! For the first time ever, I even had two egg rolls! I really felt like I struck gold. I saved half of my meal for the next day, and after reheating, it was still fantastic. No crusty rice here! I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely be ordering from them again."

"I visited this restaurant on a Sunday night for dinner. The place was quite empty, likely because we arrived late; it may be busier at other times. We ordered a Vietnamese crepe, crispy egg noodles, a combo rice bowl with orange chicken and kung pao chicken, and the house special fried rice. The crepe and the fried noodles were Vietnamese specialties that we hadn’t tried before. The crepe was crispy and filled, meant to be eaten wrapped in leafy lettuce. Personally, I found the crepe a bit oily. The fried noodles were nice and crispy, but I would have preferred more of the brown sauce. The seafood used wasn’t of premium quality, so the taste was just okay. The orange chicken was good, as was the fried rice."

"Reason for visiting: lunch with friends after a funeral Date/time of visit: Thursday afternoon, ~1:00 PM Parking: in the adjacent lot, free Party size: ~15 Environment/ambience: wasn't that busy at the time. Restroom was relatively clean. No TVs around that I saw. Small bar in the middle. We sat in the back, near the back door. Service: was good. They came around often enough. They speak broken English but understandable. Food: had some of the following: Chicken pad Thai, Fried egg with ground pork inside, beer (Singha and Chang), and pork skewers Cost: not sure, didn't pay ?"

"My partner and I decided to dine in for lunch instead of just getting takeout or delivery, and it was a fantastic experience. Honestly, it’s some of the best Asian cuisine in the metro area. The service was outstanding as well; every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and attentive. Not only did our server take great care of us, but others who passed by also checked in on us. With the delicious food and exceptional service, I wholeheartedly give this place a 10/10 recommendation!"

"I’ve been a loyal customer at Kim Son Cafe, regularly spending over $100 each visit. So, I was really surprised when the staff member who delivered my order to my car window started scolding me for not using the app to place a curbside order. For the record, I called ahead to confirm they were still offering curbside service, and they confirmed they were. Then, when I tried to order through the app, there was no option to select curbside pickup. Usually, I just call them when I arrive, and they bring the order out with no problem. This time, though, the girl who brought my food was unnecessarily rude. If curbside was an issue, I would’ve gladly gone inside to pick it up. I genuinely enjoy the Vietnamese/Chinese food here, and the location is convenient for me. My advice: don’t advertise curbside pickup if you don’t want to provide it, or at least make sure your app offers the correct options! I know the app can work properly — I use the same one to order curbside from another restaurant without any problem."

"On Thursday, June 9, 2022, I ordered food from Tangs Pacific Bistro through DoorDash. I had previously ordered from this place without any issues, but this time, my mother found a small black rock in her chicken Lo Mein, which we initially thought was a piece of coal. I called the manager to report the issue, but I only received a vague response—just an "okay." There wasn't even an apology. Given this experience, my family and I have decided we will not be ordering from here again."

"I have long been a fan of China Club. It had the best food for my money in Mansfield and a nice quiet atmosphere that was great for date night. My wife and I went to the new location for the first time, and I have to say I'm disappointed. The menu was much smaller and has moved away from strictly Asian fare into having some Italian and American pub food. The new location has more of a sports bar feel to it than fine dining. There were a lot of loud conversations going on and TVs with sports. There were also very few private tables and instead there are long tables with seats down each side for a more communal eating environment. Maybe I'm just oldschool about such things, but I'd rather have my own table so that my wife and I can have a more intimate experience. The service was quick and attentive, so no complaints there. The food was still good, but some of my previous favorites were no longer on the menu. My wife and I always order potstickers when we come to CC, so we did so again. Unfortunately they changed the recipe from more traditional steamed potstickers to fried dumplings. They were fine, but not what I was expecting, nor as good as the previous version. I was relieved that my goto order, Mongolian beef, was still an option, but when it arrived, it was clear that the recipe had changed. The meat was high quality tenderloin and had a good grilled flavor, but there was almost no sauce on it despite being served with rice, so it made the dish rather dry. Had I never been to CC before, I think I would have been satisfied, but I can't help but compare it to the old CC and find it lacking. I hope management will bring back some of what made CC so special and not try to make it a glorified Applebee's with a few Asian options"

"Try the Deluxe Tofu Lunch Deal!. Both lunch and dinner at Kim Son Cafe are delicious, however the lunch menu offers the best value. Take-out is good too, but I noted that the food is noticeably fresher with onsite dining. Try the Deluxe Tofu lunch if you like sweet-savory-spicy flavors...stir-fried peppery tofu with green peppers and jalapenos--tasty! The Deluxe Tofu dinner portion is larger (enough as a main dish for 2 people) and comes with steamed rice (vegetable fried rice costs extra at dinner). We ordered the Treasure Fish takeout by mistake and didn't enjoy it as much as the Deluxe Tofu. If you like Tilapia, ask to special order Tilapia with the same sauce used on the Deluxe Tofu--really, really fantastic! Also--there are discount dining coupons for Kim Son Cafe around town. We received our 10% and 20% coupons in the mail, and didn't have any problems using them either at lunch or dinner."

"This is the best Chinese takeout in the area! Those who rated it 1-3 stars must be mistaken; this place is excellent. The staff are friendly, and the food tastes better than any other Chinese takeout around. There’s no excessive salt or grease—clearly, the chef knows what they’re doing. Everything is flavorful and cooked to perfection. I always make sure to tip when I order, hoping to support their continued success."

"This is my first time writing a review for any service. I want to take the time to say this place is horrible because of the owner nitin. This used to be our go to restaurant up until a year ago on our anniversary June 15th. We even had our baby shower party at this restaurant. Last year we ordered takeout food for our anniversary dinner and they forgot about our order and when my dad got there our food was not ready. My dad waited for 38 mins and they sent us home with uncooked paneer and all dishes were made in a hurry so was missing masalas and did not taste as usual. When we called nitin he was so rude and did not even care to make it up to us instead he spent 45 mins arguing with us calling us liars and said that his chefs never make a mistake. Customer service is really bad and nitin is extremely unprofessional and money hungry. He does not care if you are a loyal customer or a new customer he is not looking to make his customers happy. Since last year we have been ordering from samudrha and moghul express twice a week and have been especially impressed with samudhra's excellent service. Both samudhra and moghul express have excellent food as well and they are close to spice rack."

"I absolutely enjoy some good, authentic (Americanized) Chinese food, and this restaurant truly delivers! The portions are incredibly generous, offering a wide variety of dishes you’d expect from any fast food Chinese establishment. The staff is very helpful and willing to answer all your questions, and they even have rice noodles, which is a nice twist on the traditional chow mein and just as tasty! The portion sizes provide excellent value for your money. We’ve ordered both in person and through Grubhub, but I highly recommend ordering in person if you’re like me and prefer to see what’s available or to get a better idea of what you’re craving. I’ll definitely return whenever I'm in the area and in the mood for Chinese food. Unlike many other Chinese restaurants that can be greasy and heavy, this place doesn’t upset my stomach at all!"

"I believe this restaurant often gets unfair treatment in reviews. I've been ordering from them for over ten years, and their fried chicken is the best in Austin, no exaggeration. The fried rice is good, and the hot sour soup is solid too. I'm not a big fan of the brown sauce, as it tends to be a bit too sweet for my taste. The Chicken Chow Mein is really impressive, and the egg rolls are excellent. This place deserves more love; they are consistently good and incredibly friendly. The staff is so kind and they do a wonderful job. Don't pay attention to the negative comments!"
