"We have dined at this restaurant several times on quieter evenings, which may explain why our experiences were much better then. The online menu did not mention a prix fixe option, which didn’t surprise me. However, I was taken aback by the $75 price tag for dishes like chicken and salmon, especially since a salad was not included. The staff were friendly, and the owner made an effort to check in on us, but he didn't make eye contact, which made it seem like he really didn't care. I know he has experience running hotels, but he should treat every guest as if they were in his home, especially since many patrons in the area are return visitors. My steak was burned on the outside and rare on the inside, which is unusual; it’s typically very good there, so I assume the chef just had an off night."
