The staff were friendly, and the owner made an effort to check in on us, but he didn't make eye contact, which made it seem like he really didn't care. I know he has experience running hotels, but he should treat every guest as if they were in his home, especially since many patrons in the area are return visitors. My steak was burned on the outside and rare on the inside, which is unusual; it’s typically very good there, so I assume the chef just had an off night."
