"Situated right next to the Farragut metro station, this restaurant is located in the basement (just a flight of stairs down and next to a ramen shop). The place is always nicely air-conditioned, and there are plenty of tables as well as a mat area where you can enjoy your bubble tea. They even have a shelf stocked with games like Heads Up, Uno, and Jenga for some added fun. The drinks are prepared quickly, and there are kiosks available for easy ordering. They also offer egg waffles and other desserts that I’m eager to try on my next visit!"

"The Endless Love 2.0 and Matcha Oreo Tornado Yaki Corn Dogs were fantastic! The two pieces were incredible. The Chicken Karaage could have benefited from some seasoning and a better sauce, but on its own, it was decent. The Kurobuta Coarse Pork Sausage (spicy) was also okay, although still better than the Chicken Karaage."

"This place is HORRIBLE!!! Had Meet Fresh in other states and they were all good! My girls love tofu pudding with boba so I ordered 3 for each one of them. Let me just save you money and suggest you to NOT bother wasting money on this! The tofu wasn’t silky like it should and not only that it tastes burnt, all the bobas were clumped up together as well.Service was ok, you order at the front and then you’ll get a pager to let you know when to get your order.The place will have arts on the wall that tells stories of the origin and how this place started. It’s a little more on the quiet side which is nice to sit down and relax if that’s what you’ll like doing. Can’t accommodate large groups unless if you all squeeze into 1 table."

"Didn 't even get the chance to order. Was the first in line and waited 5 minutes for someone to come take my money... Finally got tired of it and asked this male employee for help. He even answered a phone order before I asked him for help. He said No, no help. We are understaffed . I had no comment and left immediately, what a great response...hahahSuch bad customer service. If you guys are understaffed anyway, why even open? Please train your employees to answer in a manner way, unacceptable."

"Super disappointing. Just wanted to get a strawberry slush with bubbles. Added milk (which I'm allergic to) and jelly (which I'm also allergic to), bubbles were hot and they refused to change or remake my order. I had to just leave it on the counter.Awful. Will never go to any location again. Do not assume you will get what you order or that they will fix their mistakes. Definitely if you have any allergy or dietary restriction this place is not safe."

"I ordered two medium boba teas; one thai milk tea a passionfruit tea which barely had any flavor to it. Very bland and watered down. The tapioca at the bottom of both teas were skimp as if they put half a spoonful. I won apos;t be ordering from here again !"

"My daughter loves the Thai ice and the atmosphere here! We were just there when two teenagers ordered drinks after us. One of them explained that he had a severe peanut allergy and requested the woman behind the counter to wash her hands before making their drinks. The woman assured them it was fine, saying she hadn't touched anything with peanuts. The teenager asked her to wash her hands again—three times in total. Eventually, she seemed annoyed but complied. It was so disappointing and concerning to witness this, especially since the teenager was trying to advocate for himself and eventually gave up. I wanted to step in, but I felt it wasn't my place. I regret not saying anything."

"5 stars for taste, quality, freshness just like you would get it in Asia! But 4 overall because the price is rather high :/Miss this dessert soooo much, I've had it in Shanghai, Taipei and Kuala Lumpur (at Snowflake). Gave in today for their featured ube ball special (so good, there's creamy ube paste inside the coin shape ube balls). Snowflake is still a 10 for taste/quality, but this is a solid 9. Only bummer is that this costs 10 after tax here (in Asia, it'll cost under $4).The yam and taro balls were chewy but appropriately firm, grass jelly was silky smooth melt in your mouth, all resting over finely shaved ice. It's mildly sweet, and with a little cream on top, makes a perfect treat on a warm summer day!"

"OMG I 'm addicted to this place and I usually hate coconut! I 'll even eat the plain coconut singles (I still don 't like the clear coconut layer in the double though the mango is my favorite.I usually have a pretty small dessert stomach but I can eat a whole jar by myself in a single sitting (probably even two if I allowed myself to try .I have tried Melo Melo also several times to compare, but while their bags and stuff are prettier the actual food itself isn 't as good. MM 's coconut jelly is mushier and slightly too sweet. CJK 's is perfect, with almost a Jell-o or almond dofu-like firm but giving texture.I 'm sad that they don 't seem to carry other items I love anymore, like their mango pomelo sago which is as good as the mps at Sweet Heart, Premier Dessert Art and Sweethoney, and their clear jelly thing which seemed like a play on water cake and is as good as Jell and Chill in the bay area, plus other things I never got to try. I won 't take away a star for it but if they still had these other things they would get 10 stars from me."

"I visited during the soft opening and, although we waited over an hour, the tea was definitely worth it. I believe the wait time and some initial order mix-ups shouldn't be the main focus, especially given how busy it was. We ordered nine drinks in total (three were complimentary due to a current promotion) and received everything we asked for. If anyone encountered issues, the staff was quick to resolve them. (Our orders were fine, but I did notice a lady going up multiple times for some reason.) Overall, I think this is one of the best bubble tea spots I've tried. I first had it in New York, and I'm excited to see it has opened up here in Maryland!"
