"When we brought the issue to the attention of the waiter and the manager, they merely gave us neutral looks and an indifferent “oops, sorry.” It felt deliberate—they seemed to be cutting costs by reusing uneaten chips. To this day, we still laugh about it, but we have since avoided that place, regardless of how good it might be, especially with other great restaurants nearby. It's a mental block for us! Just gross! Also, I should mention that I left a tip of zero, as there was no option for that in the dropdown menu!"
