"Next, our appetizers arrived. The octopus was good, but the parsnip soup was overly salty. The pasta was served at the same time and consisted of small, wavy fusilli in marinara sauce. I pointed out that I hadn’t ordered marinara, but no explanation was offered. About 15 minutes later, they returned with the same pasta, unfortunately overcooked and falling apart. Half of the bowl was filled with water, resembling a pasta soup. The waitress approached again, without an apology, and asked if everything was to our liking. I asked why they hadn’t provided the spaghetti as promised, to which she replied that this was the pasta they served, again without any explanation. I mentioned that the pasta fell apart, was overcooked, and half the dish was filled with water. She looked at it and claimed it was melted butter. However, the pasta was barely warm, and any butter would have solidified. It looked as though they had rinsed the marinara sauce off the noodles and simply returned them to the plate. At this point, my small child was only eating bread and butter. The main courses arrived afterwards. The cod was dry and overly salty, while the Wagyu steak was just okay and a bit chewy. For dessert, we ordered their panna cotta, which was the highlight of our meal. When the waitress came by to check on us and asked how we enjoyed our meal, I mentioned that the panna cotta was the best dish of the night. She seemed pleased and said she was happy we enjoyed our meal. Clearly, something was lost in translation. Overall, it was a rather disappointing experience."
