"The restaurant has a very dedicated great staff. We were there on NYEve so it was unusually noisy filled with kids. Not the restaurant 's fault (and they did the best they could but there was a table with maybe 12 adults and they sat there kids (about 12 ages 3-15? at the table next to us. The kids didn 't eat, or sit but ran around like crazy while the adults didn 't supervise and and their meal. I felt bad for the restaurant who clearly had to 'accommodate ' this unruly crowd and even though there was a lot of people waiting for a hibachi table, the 'adult 's at the 'adult ' table didn 't care. In any case, once that group left, the noise and chaos subsided and we had a wonderful fun time. For the record there were several kids at our table who were well behaved. This large group was just awful. Maybe the restaurant should insist kids sit w/ their parents next time? The food was yummy and chefs a lot of fun. We will go back but will reconsider the NYEve visit. Or maybe go later than 9pm to avoid these large child-filled groups."

"i ordered the bento box with the following selections: main chefs choice sushi (7 pieces) side gyoza starter miso soup roll salmon avocado dessert green tea ice cream everything was pretty good overall. the fish was really fresh and atthis price point exceeded my expectations of the quality/flavor. the gyoza and miso soup were also pretty good. the outerskin/shell of the gyoza was nice and thin and the meat inside was juicy and savory. i must say the green tea ice cream was whatwon for me that night. it was so delicious and full of matcha flavor. i am lactose intolerant and it definitely messed up mystomach, but for that ice cream i?d do it all over again. i?d recommend trying them out!"

"First and foremost, the service here is incredibly fast and friendly. I appreciate seeing the same waitstaff each time I visit, which assures me that I will be well taken care of. They do an excellent job, and that's a big reason I keep coming back. The food is also delicious and reasonably priced. While I won't claim it's the most authentic Japanese cuisine in NYC, it is very tasty, and dining here is always an enjoyable experience. We always leave feeling like we got our money's worth. "The initial spot we were gonna go to, after our museum trip was shutdown due to power issues but this place was a great backup. We passed it on our way to our initial place and then walked back to try it. I got the sesame chicken teriyaki, which came with miso soup and white rice. Absolutely amazing. Also had the fried rice with chicken combination and that hit the spot. Great service. Food came out promptly. Caught the itis cause we ate so well. Definitely would recommend"

"I had to drop them a star today after my experience there. So I go online and it says open so I assumed I could go there for lunch while at work to eat there and then come back, because everything is open these days. I walk over to see a sign that says you must do take out or delivery. Neither of which I wanted but I 've wasted 5 minutes of my lunch break walking over there so I 'm commited now. I only wanted a cucumber jalepeno roll, a soup and a house salad. 2 of those items you don 't even have to make. The soup is already made and the salad is a bagged salad they shake into a plastic clamshell container. How long could it take that make that? They quote me 20 MINUTES! Fine. I walk around for a little bit and come back 20 minutes later. They proceed to slowly gather my order together. I only have 45 minutes for lunch. If I knew I was going to spend half of it walking around town because it 's going to take them almost a half hour to spoon soup into a container and pour salad into a different container, while the sushi chef makes ONE vegetable roll, I would 've chose some other place. Several over people came in to place orders and they stopped packing up my meal to take their order. I don 't understand. It 's lunch time and you know people are in a rush. Probably won 't be back. "From appetizer to dessert, Tenzan was an accidental find while looking for another non- sushi eatery, but it has become a family favorite. They serve a good variety of maki rolls. My kids tend to go for the bentos for lunch, which comes with salad, miso soup, rice, one main, shumei, haru maki and a California roll (which is a lot since it comes with two appetizers already). Favorites like teriyaki and katsu are available, but stepping outside your comfort zone is something I highly recommended here. The dessert menu is small, but everything on it will become a solid favorite. For the over 21 crowd, alcohol is served here."

"If I could give 0 stars I would, The service was absolutely terrible. I ordered from the website, tipped (mind you I've had issues with the website prior this experience and was then berated by the delivery driver that I didn't tip. I was yelled at and asked for a refund due to the joke of a service spoke to the owner and was shut down as she literally said whatever If you want to run the risk of eating mediocre sushi and terrible service by all means buy here if not please support another local small business."

"I ordered for the first time from this place as I was craving Chinese food. First I called and my first question was, do you take credit card . The lady that answered said yes. After giving my order she said cash only (head scratcher) she then hung up after I corrected her as she told me they take credit card. I proceeded to order online so I could pay with credit card. Food arrived in good time no problem there. I ordered lobster lo mein. I received lo mein with some mysterious meat which I though was shrimp but smelled weird, which cost, 3$ more because it’s suppose to be lobster. Not lobster, 100% see enclosed photo. The egg rolls , which generally are vegetable egg rolls had a mysterious meat like red substance/texture."

"EDIT: This is actually just a completely different restaurant that bought the business from Yi Sushi and uses their name. That explains why it is nothing like Yi Sushi. This used to be my favorite sushi place ever and we frequented it for takeout all through the pandemic. We were so excited to see they were open for dine-in again... until we were told the new menu was missing the roll I specifically come here for: the West Roll. Also, the miso soup is sooo weird! It used to be my daughter's fave anywhere and now it's kind of sour and way too salty. We literally have no reason to come here anymore and will have to begin our hunt for a new favorite sushi spot."
