"I want to start by saying that I enjoyed Loco Pez in Fishtown several years ago. After relocating to this side of town, I was excited to find a Loco Pez nearby. I visited on a weekday evening and was greeted by a nicely decorated interior, friendly and attentive staff, and a relaxing atmosphere after work. However, I was quite disappointed with the food. The carnitas burrito was terrible—almost entirely mush. It was a messy dish with no structure, falling apart in my hands and completely lacking in flavor. Honestly, even Chipotle offers a better burrito. It was disheartening, but at least it was under $13, so I felt somewhat relieved that I didn't spend more. The guacamole was okay, but nothing memorable. The margaritas—one classic and one chipotle—were fine as well, but again, not compelling enough for me to want to return after a long workday for a drink. Overall, while this location is certainly cleaner and more comfortable than the one in Fishtown, if you're looking for good burritos and margaritas, I would suggest checking out other options."
