"The 1011 Bistro has become our go to place when we want to get away treat ourselves to a lovely meal feel special. We have celebrated birthdays anniversaries just an evening out. The service is always top notch. Not too much but just the right amount of friendliness. My husband loves the crab cakes I adore the calamari, which is so tender beautifully seasoned, both which have wonderful aioli sauces. we do split the calamari sometimes. I think we could make a meal on the delicious bread. We tend to get the charred Caesar salad. It's just good! We've had the filet, which is always perfectly cooked love the planked salmon last week he had the antelope, which he really enjoyed. It is so peaceful looking out over the Guadalupe, seeing the water ducks. We top it off with a chocolate hazelnut torte the sunset. We can definitely recommend the 1011 Bistro."

"This place is such a cute little gem in East Providence. From the positive affirmations on the walls to the pleasant staff and the pizza you won't ve disappointed! We took our kiddos for dinner and for the kids price they get a good portion! We all got pizza and it was delicious and speedy, and hubby and I enjoyed a pitcher of white sangria that was refreshing! Worth a stop if you're seeking some traditional Italian style pizza! Food: 5"

"We came here with a reservation for a birthday celebration. Our previous visits in past years were nice, but our visit in July 2024 was extremely disappointing. While the atmosphere was nice with the piano player, the restaurant is showing its age. Most importantly the food was overpriced, poor quality even left a couple in our party ill, and small portioned. The blacked halibut was not blackened and had no shrimp as menu promised, with only 3 small pieces of asparagus. The shrimp scampi were not jumbo and therefore we paid almost $30 for 5 shrimp. The kid’s macaroni and cheese was the same dish as the adult dinner serving of Mac and cheese au gratin which meant spicy and not eaten by the kiddo (also didn’t see a cookie the menu promised). I so wish we had a better experience as we have in the past but I’m afraid I won’t be returning."

"This is a great little Italian place and I 've eaten here for many years. I especially enjoy lunch when they give you FREE martinis but dinner is a great time as well. The corn and crab bisque in the bread bowl is a must and they always give you some great garlic/cheese bread to kick off your meal. EVERYTHING I 've ever had here has been outstanding and the service has always been above all expectations. "This was our second visit, first was perfect on a Tuesday evening, Friday was very different, basic stuff like bread on the table did not come until asked. Dinner was worst, third meal was not served for minnutes, leaving twoof us having to start, food was getting cold. One special was a piece of fried chicken, probably cooked in the afternoon, server indicated it was not fried. To top it all off the expresso was served cold. It appears the kitchen and wait staff were completely overwhelmed. Don't go on weekend, but if you can't go on weekend then not very good"

"We enjoyed the guacamole and salsa. The medium guacamole and it was fairly spicy. Each person ordered a different kind of enchiladas and tacos and then we traded around so that everyone could try several kinds. We were severed quickly which would be good for people who have an evening engagement. Our only complaint was that it was quick noisy which made it difficult to hear each other at our table."

"Treated very poorly by management due to dispute with another table about opening up tent which was shut when we arrived, which we were comfortable with, and made us quite cold after it was opened. Understand the complex issues, but was handled very poorly by manager? owner? when he finally arrived to discuss with us minutes after we first complained. No apology, no offer to move us to another table, simply rude response that showed no consideration to our concerns. Perhaps the other party were regulars, it was our first time there. It will also be our last"

"So where do I start? our waitress creates the place in the rule. She was terrible. it is not that she was not nice, she could not remember anything we ordered to save her life. when asked about dishes on the menu. she might remember a few things from the menu. Maybe it's just me, as manager, should a manager not be able to suggest more than one starter or one dessert? everything else! She was very nice and she admitted that it was a long time that she had to wait tables?! I didn't want to give her a tip, but I gave her the full 22% tipp. she was very friendly and very transparent about the food she could remember. I'm going to kill myself, so I'm sorry not to go back! that was not worth eating. the meatballs were overcooked. the marinosauce was terrible sweet. the cheese and the broth - I guess the cheese and the broth that goes with the pasta court were terrible; the gurkens on the salate, as if they were treated by a chemical and the only thing I had was a house salad. it was disgusting I think if I had to do something, I would remove this one star that is automatically assigned to this kind of review. it was a terrible experience, but the waitress was a sweet person."

"We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with scallion pancakes (yum) and ending with my chicken and broccoli (yum again) , the lunch deal (rice, main dish and soup) was very well priced and really delicious. The setting is wonderful--brick walls, and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommend!!"

"This place truly has everything going for it! The restaurant is beautiful, the staff is amazing, and the food is some of the best food you'll have anywhere! They are very accommodating and allow dogs on the patio, they also serve a menu with food and treats for pets. For those who have Celiac and gluten intolerance, they are extremely knowledgeable and very willing to help break down for you what's safe to eat on their menu. The Caprese salad was fantastic, as was the Pesto Chicken Pasta, and the Salmon filet with shrimp. The family finished the evening with some mint chocolate cake and said that it was delicious! One of the best meals I've had in a very long time!"

"We attempted to reserve an outdoor table but were informed that outdoor seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. I explained to the staff that I am severely immunocompromised and requested a special exception, as it would be impossible for me to dine indoors. If that couldn't be accommodated, we would have to leave. The manager then spoke to me and said, “Sorry! If I make an exception for you, I’d have to do it for everyone,” and refused my request. She added that if I arrived and felt uncomfortable staying, it would be my decision. This experience felt very ableist and was quite disappointing. I genuinely hope that the manager never has to face a condition that requires her to depend on special accommodations."

"this is our place to go. but this time our party consisted of 4, their escapes were good, but mine a great disappointment. I had ordered the chestnut steak. rarely, came medium rare but it was discs of steak, hardly 1/4 inches thick (as they get on a steak sandwich) and the price was $47!!! at this price the steak should have been a 1/2 to 3/4 inch piece meat. no problems with the service."

"The restaurant was conveniently located for us and the menu looked good. When we arrived they had no means of checking a reservation and didn't have a table ready for us. It took about 15 minutes for anyone to greet our table at all, so we were able to already decide on our dinner by the first time a server talked to us. It then took another 25-30 minutes for our dinner to arrive. We had a Caesar salad, sliders, and lobster mac and cheese and I wouldn't order any of it again. The beer was good and it seemed like a fun place. There was live music that was really good, but the whole place was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation."

"I had made a reservation for 7:30. It was my son's birthday. We also stayed at the River Crab hotel there . We were seated at 7:45 At 8:05 No one still had come to.our table. Had to ask for water and 8:15 a boy brought us water and said he would send over a waitress. 8:30 still no waitress Got up and told the hostess to please send a waitress. 8 :40 still no one. Every waitress passed out table like we were not even there. I.was so upset that we got up and left the restaurant and went somewhere else.to eat. There were 4 of us and my son's birthday was totally ruined!!!!!. I have never in my life treated so poorly at a restaurant. I will be sure to tell my friends of the horrible service we received. NO EXCUSE FOR THIS KIND OF SERVICE!!!!!!!!!"

"However, our food took an unusually long time to arrive—over 30 minutes just to get our salads. When the food finally came, one of the meals was incorrect, and the person who brought it seemed to vanish. Another waitress then approached us and asked if we had ordered the mussels. It turned out our food had been delivered to the wrong table. They continued to prepare meals, but given that the food had already been sitting for over five minutes, I was concerned about whether it had been touched by someone else, which didn't sit right with me. The portion sizes were generally small, except for the salads, which were quite large. Toward the end of our meal, our original server had an injury (I hope everything is okay), and another server took over. It then took a long time for us to receive our bill. Although the manager was present, he didn’t seem very attentive or helpful to his clearly overwhelmed staff who were doing their best to keep up with the customer volume. The kitchen was also quite slow."

Our server was very inattentive and when he did interact with us it was extremely rushed. We were left unattended for most of the evening. "I have been hearing people rave about this place for years, so I had some fairly high expectations… The bread (ordered the roasted garlic) is good (fresh and fluffy), but not amazing like people state. The ribeye was cooked perfectly to my liking (rare), but it was not a good cut of meat. The garlic and mushroom topping was ok, the garlic was roasted well but the mushrooms were raw (not a big deal to me, just different). The veal Parmesan was over cooked (not an issue as my wife prefers it on the crispy side, but well past golden brown). The chicken alfredo was just ok… Now the positives: the aptmosphere is nice, our server was great, the house salad dressing is very very good, and the desserts (creme brûlée and bread pudding) were well above average. Overall the place was just ok, but once you factor in the price, I will probably not be going back. This could be attributed to my high expectations due to the overwhelming amount of positive reviews, but there are other restaurants that I enjoy more for the price point."

"Food was good we ordered the Del Mar Chimichanga and Steak Chimichurri burrito. Aside from the thermostat inside reading that it was 85 degrees, service was very disappointing. It started with no silverware. The server was very slow and didn’t refill drinks without us having to ask (multiple occasions). The worst of it though, was the server shorting us $0.90 in change. When this was brought up to the owner, there was an apology, but it was never offered for us to get the correct change back. He did acknowledge that it was the principle of it, but did not once offer to give us the change to make it right. There were only 2 adults and 1 child in our party. We will not be back. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2"
